I go back to work on the 29th and DS will be 8 weeks old. I signed him up for daycare a week before I go back so he and I could get used to it. I was going to put him in a few hours each day and build up...but I'm chickening out!! I love having him home with me so I'm keeping him tomorrow. I think some of my anxiety also stems from him being EBF and I feel like I have hardly a stash built up at all for daycare. Anyone else ever felt the same? Boo!

awww!! I'm so sorry!! sending you some love. That is so hard I remember when DS hit 12 weeks and I thought, if I was a working mom, I would be having to leave him right now and I started crying thinking about it!!! I cannot imagine being in your position. You are so strong!!

@lydg: Since you are home, can you go to his daycare extra times and nurse him there? We did this for a while until the stash worked it's way up.

@brownie I might do that...I can't figure out if I want to send him with formula this week or what little milk I have stored. I was kind of hoping if I sent him with formula just this week I could pump at home and still nurse when he is here.

I am just so lucky I had enough personal days saved up from never taking days off that I was able to take 8 weeks. I could have never gone back at 6! DH works out of town and is only here a couple days a week so it makes things just that much harder...
