Me! I (mostly) love bf-ing but pumping is truly annoying. Cannot wait to store the medela away forever! Or at least until baby #2.

YES! I am done now, at almost 11 months . . . 5 days a week was just too much and something had to give. I still nurse at night/early morning (or on demand on weekends), but I feel SO much more like me! I felt/sometimes still feel a little guilty (*shakesfist* damn you mom guilt!), but I know I made the right choice for me. I am excited for you!

@MsLipGloss: Are you giving formula? Or did you start whole milk early?

@mewtill: Formula. I have always struggled with supply (since I returned to work at 12 weeks pp), but as I gradually dropped pumping sessions, I increased the formula. Now that LO is also eating some solids/purees, she has pretty much topped out at 3 5-5.5oz bottles during the day (sometimes she finishes them all, and sometimes she doesn't).

ooh! my LO turns 1 on Thursday and I'm down to one pump a day this week. I am not planning on pumping at all after Friday, and I'm SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't even believe there will be a time when I don't have to do it. But I don't loathe pumping as much as others do. It is just an annoyance. The thing that really broke my soul down was having a kid who hated breastfeeding. Glad that's over! And I'll pump exclusively instead until she turns one

Haha my LO is only 4 weeks and I can already tell that my pump will die in a bonfire when I'm through with it, and I will dance happily around it as it burns.
Too much?
