I used a mix of writing with a Sharpie and labels from a labelmaker (p-touch), but after Mrs. Bee's recent post about daycare labels, I ordered labels from a seller on etsy! I love them!!!!!

Wow, even the inside parts for the Dr. Brown's bottles?

I used (and still use) a Sharpie to mark most of DD's daycare things. I bought labels for the outside of her bottles and sippy cups. They're not the cutest, but they're inexpensive and they stay on through the dishwasher.

Orbit labels from Inch Bugs. I like that they're reusable and rubber band so I can use them on bottles then for her straw cups. FYI they are a bit loose in the beginning on DR Browns.

I just use a sharpie for everything else.

@Anagram: it would be unsanitary to label the inside parts of the bottles??

Ask your daycare - I was surprised that our daycare required colored tape with their name in Sharpie on EVERYTHING, even if I had already labeled it.

They provided the tape, its definitely not as cute as those nice labels you can buy, but it was free and what they wanted!

I have used Mabels Labels, Label Daddy and name bubbles

Mabels is more pricier but def lasts way longer than the others!!

We used Oliver's labels for clothes and daycare-provided tape for bottles. I can't imagine labeling the inside parts of bottles! And seriously, how would people label the nipple itself? Sharpie seems like it wouldn't be non-toxic.

@Anagram: I wouldn't label the inside parts either.

We have to have a date on bottles and food. So for that I use painters tape.

@Anagram: We just put her spare outfits in a ziploc bag with her name on the bag. I can't imagine having to label clothes. We do have to label her sleep sack and bibs. Those I just wrote her initial on the label with a sharpie.

I use painters tape with a sharpie, and for clothing or items too small for painter's tape, I used Mabel's labels. I really like them and they're reusable!! I take them off DS's smaller clothing and put them on bigger ones, and they stay on!!

I used freezer tape (looks like masking tape) for the first day of daycare. I planned to buy nicer labels eventually but the freezer tape is still going strong 6 months later. It's lasted through the dishwasher and steam sanitation.

I didn't label LO's clothes because they are all borrowed hand me downs. I figured the real owners would be less upset to be missing a few things than to have LO's name written in everything. And I don't have time to sew labels in everything.

@Anagram: Will your LO take a different kind of bottle? I would not want labels--handwritten or stuck on-- on the inside parts coming in contact with LO's milk!
