Nurse your LO just to get them to nap?
My infant is almost 3 months (how?!) and just woke from her nap early. I want more quiet time so I nursed her even though it has only been 1.5 hours since she last ate. Lol. She fell back asleep 
she doesn't usually!!

Yes! Wish I could do it now with my 17 month old, but he is too stubborn and doesn't understand how wonderful sleep is (for mommy).

I did that with both of my kids until they outgrew it around 4 months! So useful...nothing worse than a short nap!

@coopsmama: Me too! It's like she knows it's not bed time so she would never ever nurse to sleep during the day! She'd appear to be sleeping just to wake up after I take her off.

no, but mostly because nursing didn't really put LO to sleep. if it had, i totally would have used it to extend a nap!

All the time when they were little! I'm actually doing it for Alice right now. Teething and a tornado siren going off messed up our usual naptime so I'm desperate to get them some sleep!

I started to work from home part time before returning fully from my maternity leave, and I'd try to start nursing 30 min before any telephone meetings in order to get this to happen!

I still sometimes do it with my 15 mo. She doesn't usually settle but sometimes when she needs to relax, she'll ask for milk and then drift off to sleep.

Ha just now tried it with no such luck. But I do it all the time and usually she'll go back to sleep.

Yes! I worked from home for a while, and if B didn't nap I was screwed for the day. I was willing to try anything!

It doesn't work for us anymore unless he's REALLY tired already, or else I'd do it all the time! It's nothing to feel guilty about.
