Both my kids have that reaction from spinach and sometimes squash, I continue to give it I them. The 2 year old pretty much grew out of it, don't know if it's from continues exposure or simply because he is older. The 7 month old has only had it a handful of times but unless a more serious reaction occurs, I won't stop her from eating it.

I do if there is just a mild rash. I believe that continued exposures to the foods will help build up a tolerance.

My LO was getting a rash on her face from strawberries around 13 months. I held off for awhile (6 months maybe), then gradually tried again, and she was and is still fine after eating reasonable quantities.

i do. she is sensitive to the acid in fruit so sometime she gets a rash or hives on her face after she eats them. i do too. i think she will either grow out of the allergy or it'll continue to be very mild. if it were a serious reaction, then i probably wouldn't.

anecdotally, my nephew was allergic to eggs when he was around that age, and he grew out of it.

No. LO gets a bad rash from eggs and with each exposure, the rash is worse. I don't think it is worth the risk.

Oranges sometimes irritate his skin, but he isn't allergic.

I would be very careful about trying to desensitize a kid on your own. We also can become "sensitized" to allergens, where early exposures don't cause a reaction, but repeated exposures cause worse and worse reactions.
