I only offer one breast at each feeding because I have an oversupply of milk and one is plenty for him, and want to make sure he is getting the hindmilk. I'm curious do you offer one or both and how long does LO usually eat for?

I usually just offer one. She typically pulls off when she's done, and I know there's still some left in there. LO is 2.5 weeks old now and she usually eats anywhere from 8-12 minutes, which friends say is quick for a newborn... but I don't have any other children to compare her to.

I offered both early on and stopped I think around 2 months bc I had oversupply and did blocked feedings which helped. Ever since then I just offer one side but a few times when it seemed like she was extra hungry I offered both and sometimes she'd take more but most times she didn't

I only offer one breast per feeding. LO is 5 weeks old and eats for about 10-15 minutes. She used to take much longer

I only offer one...occasionally I'll offer both before bedtime so that she is extra full and sleeps longer.

i usually just offer one. sometimes it takes olive a long time to settle down, then i offer both. it takes her about 15 min in the daytime, and longer before bedtime/at night.

I was offering both the first week but almost immediately had oversupply issues so I starting block feeding when DD was just 2 weeks. Now that she's starting to stretch out her feedings I'm able to switch breasts each time instead of every few feedings like I had been. (progress)

I always offer both, but I have very low milk supply, so even after having DD empty both breasts I still have so supplement w/ formula.

She takes both for 25 minutes each. I think she is a ridiculously slow nurser.

Both during the day and only one during night feeds. I was doing the opposite when I had an oversupply and realized that it didn't make sense to offer more in the middle of the night. Duh!
