Definitely, if she is excelling in school and wants to try them! I wish I had taken more honors/advanced studies while I was in school. I was so bored in my classes and they usually didn't challenge me.

Yes for sure if they want to. My honors classes in high school were awesome. I learned so much from them...way more than I ever did from my regular classes.

Yes, I plan to encourage them to take the most challenging classes they are ready for. One of DH's biggest regrets is that his parents never pushed him to take advanced classes and he ended up having to work twice as hard later in life.

Yes, if they show signs of excelling or need more from their classes. My favorite classes were Honors or AP ones! ,

If they are capable then yes!
If try need lower level classes, I wouldn't mind putting them in the lower level either.
I want my kids to be comfortable and confident. I don't want to wath them struggle but yet I don't want them stuck at a low level if in fact they are excellerated.

DH and I are both such nerds, I don't think it's genetically possible for our child to be any different. Though if LO is passionate about something other than academics, I think it's more important to nurture that interest than forcing him to conform.

I will encourage him in high school if he is capable. I don't really believe in GT classes in elementary school or middle school though.
