Does anyone have these fabric high chairs?

Thinking about getting one for our trip so I don't have to hold Olive during every meal. Do you like it? Is it worth it?

@Mrs. Bee: I don't have one, but it looks definitely interesting.

we had one, but cb was about 15-16 months when we used it. he was definitely active and wanted to get into everything at that point, but the high chair thingy did a pretty good job of keeping him in the chair. we certainly had to sit close to him just in case it did get a little loose, but for the most part, it was a good item to have, especially when high chairs were not readily available.

Have one (My Little Seat, colored stripes). Only used it a couple times. Baby Y wasn't a fan, but Olive might be!
I could totally ship it to you so you can try it out without spending $. It's not doing us any good right now!

@Mrs. Yoyo: cool! that would be awesome. it's just one more thing to carry and i'm trying to pack light (taking a travel crib + inflatable bathtub.... we're going to a remote island without cribs, bathtubs, etc). But holding Olive for 3 meals a day every day doesn't sound like much fun!

We don't have one because LO is too young for it but I saw it in action with a friend of a friend's baby. I think he was around 6-7 months old. It looked so easy to use, super portable and he loved being in it! We are definitely going to look into getting one when LO is sitting better.

@Mrs. Bee: Will do, just email your address One other idea is just feeding her on a blanket sometimes. We've done that a lot.

@Mrs. Yoyo: we could survive without a high chair when we're at mr. bee's place because she can sit on the floor, but since we won't have a stroller and will be spending a lot of time in airports, i think it will come in handy.
will email!

@mrs. bee - i was just about to ask this same question for an upcoming trip we have! how did it work out for you?

@buffalove: it is awesome when it fits onto a chair. but most chairs have tall backs and this does not fit onto chairs with tall backs. a design flaw that i think is easy to fix. for that reason, it's probably best not to get one because you won't know if you'll have high backed chairs when you need to use it.

@mrs. bee: thanks for the quick reply! we're staying at a house we've rented before, so i'll have to try to remember what the chairs are like...

We used one of these over Thanksgiving, and it worked really well. The only problem is that it only fits certain chairs.
