This question comes from a moms group I am in. A mom mentioned that she walked into daycare one day to see the kids watching Minions. The kids are 2-3 year olds. When she opened the door, her daughter ran over to her and said, "Mommy! So scary!!"

Most of the comments in the post say they don't mind if their kids watch the occasional movie. I'm amazed. If I was paying for my kid to go to daycare/preschool, I do not want them watching PG movies. Especially at 2/3 years old without permission from home!

I'm sure the teacher has no idea that it is PG and thought it would be fun b/c a lot of kids have watched that movie before. But I would be furious.

Does your childcare let the kids watch movies (maybe on rainy or really hot days?) How would you feel about your young child watching the Minions movie at school?
