I wasn't sure how to word the topic. But lately, DD would rather pinch and pull at my nipples than nurse from them. She seems oddly obsessed with it and I can't get her to get back to nursing once she notices them. I really try not to have a reaction so she doesn't keep doing it, but it really hurts!
Has your LO done this? What did you do to stop it?

This happened to us too. I would either ignore or gently move LO's hand away. After a couple weeks he just stopped doing it on his own.

I gave her something to distract her hand or just held her hand. Babies are smart, nipple fiddling helps milk let down so sometimes I think that's what she was doing, but sometimes I think she just was exploring. I think she got the hint though after I kept removing her hands.

I didn't stop it. My son plays with the other side while he nurses on one. If I'm really against it, I just cover it so he can't get it. It can really hurt and gets annoying but he needs the calories.

Owww!! I can't stand when she accidentally hits my nipples, I can't imagine her playing with them! I hope she never gets in this habit...

She does it once in a while when she's bored and they're in her face. Omg it hurts so much when she yanks on them/pinches them!
