LO 1 definitely eats better at preschool when she is around her friends.
LO 2 is about the same at home and daycare. Good/Poor eating at home usually means the same good/poor eating at daycare.

SO MUCH better at daycare. They send his paper home often saying he had 2 helpings at lunch. But then he'll barely eat at dinner (even on days he didn't have 2 helpings). It's incredibly frustrating.

She eats well in both places. I think she eats better when it's just us, though.

Definitely at daycare. At home, she just wants to eat yogurt and sometimes pouches or homemade purées (if we spoon-feed them to her), she'll pick at finger foods but doesn't actually eat much. At daycare, though, she shovels it in and sometimes asks for more. I've seen her eating there and it amazes me. I guess a lot has to do with the fact that she's with all her friends and they sit down together to eat, so there's a "peer pressure" element to it (in a good way). But she's also way more independent there than she is at home, in general.

Our kids both used to eat better at school! But since our son started kindergarten, he hasn't been eating nearly as much. It turned out that he's a slow eater and they don't give enough time for lunch!

Older one eats better at school for sure. He almost always finishes all his lunch. My younger one is about the same but I think I pack too much for her age. I pack her pretty much the same amount as her brother.

Way better with his caregiver!!!! He has next to no interest in food at home but generally loves what his sitter prepares for him.

Way way way better at daycare. I've been told she's one of the best eaters there.

Much better at home. I think we just have more persistance, whereas at daycare, if she throws food off her table or doesn't eat it all really quickly, they assume she doesn't want it.

A mix. LO eats well at preschool. At home, it's hit or miss. Some days, he's hungry. Other days, not so much. With our new preschool, we have an app which tells us when and how much he eats. Some nights, he's not hungry because snack was close to going home time.
