What am I doing wrong? I give LO milk in her Zoli-bot and sometimes it leaks like crazy. The top is screwed on tight and everything but MILK.EVERYWHERE.AHHHH!
Someone tell me how to fix this? She really likes the cup otherwise so I'm reluctant to try a new one...plus, those things are $$$!

Yes! Always happens with milk, not so much with water. I ended up switching cups because of the constant leaks.

Yep! It would come back up the straw. I just keep it now for when none of the other sippys are clean.

This is why I passed on the Zoli. We tried using playtex straw cups for a while, but they ended up leaking too. I ended up buying some cheapy Nuby straw cups from TJMaxx and THEY ARE MAGIC! We LOVE them

Yep - all the freaking time. If you search the archives, you will find a ton of threads spewing Zoli hate.
I still use mine, but have found that you can only use it for room temperature water, and then it still leaks about 1/4 of the time. If you use it for cold milk, the pressure builds in the straw and it leaks everywhere.
I have tried a ton of cups, and the only straw cup I like is the Lansinoh Momma cup (it is shaped like an orb and has handles).

Yep! Unfortanely, they are the only cups R really drinks good out of. Once we have her more on a better routine with WCM, we are going to try something else. I think sometimes if the top is screwed on too tight it causes the leaking.

We tried the munchin ones and they were really hard to suck. DH and I had issues with them. We cut a small hole on the inside, per a bee recommendation, and it helped. But R still couldn't use them and then it leaked.

I was going to suggest the same as @Smurfette: I had read a lot on the boards that the Zolis leaked, and someone suggested the b.box. So I got that and we love it. It only leaks if you don't put the lid on correctly. And D tosses it around like crazy.

I liked the weighted straw bottom, but I cannot understand how the Zoli cups are so highly rated! I only use mine when it's the only clean one left.
We like the Munchkin cups that @lavender: uses. We rarely have leaks, and they're really cheap so if we lose one I don't want to throw something

@Ginabean3: I used munchkin straw cups with success for a few months and then they started leaking as well. I switched to Nuby a few days ago and so far so good.

they should start some kind of straw/sippy cup renting service so people can try out different cups......they would have to sterilize in between of course, but geez, I have so many unused cups in my cupboard!

People say this but we honestly didn't have more problems than the other cups.
