BUT ME!
I thought my son was "over" purees but turns out he just won't eat them from me lately! He eats them at daycare and just ate oatmeal and a huge bowl of soup from my mom today. Is it b/c he knows if he refuses I will just give him finger foods? He's 9.5 mos.
What's up with this?

@MsLipGloss: He literally screamed bloody murder when I tried to feed him oatmeal yesterday (and applesauce). I'm getting played.

@WinnieBee: I think it comes from a place of total security and comfort with you . . . your LO feels safe enough with you to try to communicate what he really wants. He knows that you will get it, comfort him, and be patient with him while he tries.
