OMG!!!!! 119 comments???? What are you lot like?!!!!
Yesterday, after I'd updated you abour what DH had said, I went to visit my dad (he's in a hospice). When I got home, DH told me his parents were popping over with dinner so i frantically cleaned the house until they arrived. As soon as they'd left, DH said he wanted to go to bed (8.45pm!!!) and took the laptop with him to watch TV on. I didn't see all this until this morning!!!!!
It's now 8am. DH left for work at 7.20pm and in that time I've got up, got dressed, rushed to the store holding my FMU (not fun!!), bought some cheap tests, raced home, peed, waited 3 well-timed minutes and it's negative.
I'm still only 11DPO so it's really still too early to rule myself out - but I think it confirms that yesterday's line was an evap.
You guys are so, so funny. I'm going to have a good read through all your comments again now - i was so shocked this morning when I saw it all!!! It's taken the sting off the BFN, that's for sure!!!

I've just gone to wrap the test up and throw it in the outside bin, never to be dug out again, because the maximum 10 minutes expired... and I'm pretty sure there's a very, very, very faint line.....like, SO faint....
DH said last night that, as a compromise, I can get a digital tomorrow.... NOBODY get excited, okay?? It's probably just in my head. I want NO congratulations or over-excitement from you (bunch of enablers - I like that one - lol!!) until I have posted a pic of a digital, okay??
14 minutes after pee and I'm sure there's a line.... does it still count if you have to hold it up to the light to see it???

@MrsCastro: I'm so sorry!!! I will use the other supermarket own-brand test this evening I think then I'll get a digital for tomorrow morning. I don't know what to think.....! I'm going to err on the side of two evap lines in a row (they were both out of the time limit!) and try not to get my hopes up.

Swearsies, the first thing I did when I got a second this morning was check this thread!! Another potential BFP/Evap?! I think the universe knew we needed some soap opera style drama to keep us all entertained!!! Gooooood LUCK!!

I'm running errands for my mum today so I won't be able to attach pics til later. Im on my phone now. It really is so faint you can hardly see it on the pic!!!
Bought digitals today though so will test tomorrow! Unless I chicken out!!!
I'm such a drama queen! If its a BFN after all this I'll feel super guilty!

@tequiero21: lol you might very possibly be thinking of someone else, but I had a thread like that! ( http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/positive-pregnancy-tests ) because I took blue dye tests and everyone curses those I assumed it was an evap, but it was positive! too funny. I think there was another (in the "you might also enjoy..." links). as a little sidenote..kind of surreal to go back and read that, since I'm 10 days from my due date now!
@Ali: ehhh no worries! it's kind of fun to have something to be all excited about! for reference, here is my 9 dpo (evening) test. it's a blue dye so it will look different than yours, but in case you're curious!

@Ali: the morning I got my digital bfp I got super faint line jut like yours on a cheap box store test, I then tried the only other thing I had which was a dollar tree test and it was stark white. I kept looking at the first faint line (which took a while to show up for me too!) wondering if it was real or a dreaded evap and I couldnt stand waiting. I went to the store right away and got a digital and it was positive!

My BFP was super faint and was at 10DPO!

Okay Bees, the time has come to bring this thread to it's conclusion.
I went to my BFF's house on my way home from my mums'. She's currently 7.5 months pg and has seen a lot of tests - and I mean a LOT of tests. Positives, negatives, evaps - you name it and she's seen it! And she SWORE my evaps were BFPs. So sure was she that I was pg and so excited she insisted - insisted - that I take the digital there and then.
My cries of "but it's not FMU" and "hubby says we have to wait" fell on deaf ears. She handed me a glass that she had "been intending to throw away anyway" (err, ok) and sent me into the bathroom.
A few minutes later, with trembling hands, I retrieved the test from the windowsill and this, ladies and gentlemen, is what I saw.... do you think it's an evap??!

Man I had this drama too!!! I was getting no positives a WEEK past when my period was due. So I went to the doc who did a blood test. Result? INCONCLUSIVE. The next day I POAS on a first response...teensy tiny probably lighter than your first pink. Got all excited - woo! Called the doctor, and they said if I had a pink line, I didn't need to come back in for another blood test. Two days later, I freak out that I'm not pregnant so I pee on a cheap dollar store test. No line. I freak out, start crying, call my parents, blah blah blah. Hours later I see that there was a line. Go back the next day (this is 5 days later, my period is 12 days late at this point) and get a positive blood test. It was HELL waiting to find out! My husband thought I was so crazy! You aren't alone!!
