Ground turkey seems to be a meat protein both my girls eat very well. What are some ground turkey recipes that are hits with your kiddos?
Favorites here are ground turkey stir fry, a crockpot turkey bolognese and turkey stroganoff.

We do a ton of turkey burgers:
http://elanaspantry.com/green-chili-turkey-burgers/
or mix with taco seasoning, which feels obvious.
I also use Malibu Seasoning and will do that plus worchestershire and 1/4 c bread crumbs per 1lb of turkey and make a meatloaf, then slice it for breakfast. It's very garlicky

this is so unhelpful because it's really for you and not your kids (unless they're really adventurous eaters) but I LOVE, LOVE this recipe from the cookbook Jerusalem:

My personal fav are turkey Hawaiian burgers..
Combine ground turkey, bread crumbs, chopped red pepper and onions, ginger powder and 1/4 cup pineapple juice to make 4 patties.
Broil or sautee burgers and baste with teriyaki sauce for the last 2 minutes.
Broil or sautee whole pineapple ring (1 for each burger).
Spread buns with Mayo & teriyaki mixed sauce.
I use whole grain buns and serve with sweet potato fries.

We love Skinnytaste turkey picadillo. http://www.skinnytaste.com/2010/02/turkey-picadillo.html
D has also been known to devour these meatballs. I usually make the Skinnytaste fried rice with them. http://www.skinnytaste.com/2010/01/asian-turkey-meatballs-with-lime-sesame.html
And this is a favorite, too. I've made it with sweet potatoes and regular potatoes. Delicious either way. http://www.skinnytaste.com/2012/11/sweet-potato-turkey-shepards-pie.html
Obviously, we have a thing for Skinnytaste. Ha ha.

I make ground turkey and pork sausage meatballs (very loosely based on Alton Brown's baked meatballs recipe). I like them because I can add things like spinach to them, and bake them.

@blackbird: @Mrs. Lemon-Lime: those burgers look yummy!
@LCTBQE: ha! They're definitely more adventurous than most kids I know. But any opportunity to hide zucchini, I'm game for.
@littlebug: ooh, shepherd's pie. Haven't made that in a while.
@lovehoneybee: they both devour meatballs!

We mixed it with 2 chorizo sausages for taco meat and it was delicious!

@regberadaisy: He loves them! And nights when I'm feeling super lazy I just throw a few in the microwave, cube up some cheese, find some carrots, etc etc. 5 minute dinner.

Taco casserole, sloppy joes, chili. We never use ground beef anymore.

@catomd00: I still love beef! LOL but it's gotten SO expensive.
@lovehoneybee: yeah, we need to make a big batch of meatballs for dinner one weekend and freeze some.

I forgot - my fav is an Italian style chili in the crockpot with lots of veggies, cannelini beans, tomato sauce and some chili powder. I usually serve it over rice.

I like to use ground turkey to make wontons with. I make a big batch of won ton soup with it

@MrsB2012: ok, that's brilliant. I need to get a pack of wraps and make a bunch to freeze.

I do a version of Ina Garten's turkey meatloaf (I make the onion jam part with just onions, Worchestershire, dry thyme, and ketchup, for instance). I also add some parmesan to the meat mixture, but totally optional. We love it more than beef meatloaf. You can also make it into meatballs that can be dipped in ketchup too and it makes incredible sandwiches.

This is also meal that doesn't seem like much, but its DELICIOUS. We don't use the pine nuts and I just brown the turkey with the spices and onion in the beginning, throw all the other ingredients in, and cook it all together in one pan. So good, especially with a little tomato salad on the side.

As a note, we use "lean" turkey which is a little darker, over than the 99% fat free ground turkey, which I think is too dry.

Chili, meatloaf, meatballs, turkey burgers, tacos, asian ground turkey and green beans, and turkey lettuce cups!

We make a variation of these sloppy joes with ground turkey and add zucchini or sweet potato or other squash depending on the season.

@sapphire: @gingerbebe: (middle eastern rice) these both look delicious and super fast to put together! We typically have 30 minutes to get dinner on the table, so quick is important!

We do turkey burgers and use olive oil to bind them together since the fat content is so low. We serve them on Hawaiian buns with BBQ sauce or make them into meatball subs with pizza/tomato sauce and melted provolone/mozzarella.

Will they eat ground chicken? I've got a recipe for Texas chicken burgers (includes zucchini and carrots), although I bet you could use turkey instead.

We top it with the mustard/bean mixture.

@regberadaisy: I don't have a specific recipe, just anyone, and sub out the pork for turkey. Everything else is the same. Super yummy and easy. Takes a bit of time to prepare the wontons, but so worth it!

following this thread, my useless contribution is that I made turkey meatballs in the oven last night, on top of mashed potato and red sauce with parmesan... and proceeded to nearly die of heartburn all through the night
