I like the take and toss for at home. We have a thermos foogo for milk when we are traveling/out all day, and a thermos straw bottle for water in the diaper bag. The foogo is pretty much leak proof, but the thermos straw cup spills if the straw is open and it is turned upside down.

I liked the Zoli for when LO was 6-12 months because of the straw, but it's the worst at leaking.
Right now i'm fine with using the Playtex ones - no leaks into my purse!

I recently started using the Take and Toss cups. I haven't tossed any yet, but they're super cheap, so it wouldn't be the end of the world if I did. I put a smoothie for my daughter in it every morning and it surprisingly doesn't leak (unless she turns it upside down). The only downside is that you have to be careful putting the straw in if there's already liquid in the cup...it'll squirt out!

Take and toss for milk at home, skip hop straw cup and foo go for water/outside!

E loves this: http://shop.camelbak.com/eddy-kids-4l/d/1184
I have the adult size version and she ALWAYS wanted mine, so now she has her own. It doesn't leak AT ALL (it spends most of its days sideways in my purse) like the Zoli. But it's heavier. We liked the Zoli for a long time, though

Foogo for milk, and camelbak for water. Both are leakproof and can be carried around everywhere! I love that I can toss them in my diaper bag without worry.

We used zolis for water when she was little but I find them a little hard to clean.
Now we use these munchkin cups every day. They're not foolproof (I think most straw cups can occasionally leak a little from the straw, especially if they warm up a little) but we like them!

We have just started using a b box for water with meals, and DS is a huge fan. Before we were using a free flow tommee tippee cup, and he would just spend the whole time pouring it out -whereas the b box I can give him without him drenching himself. Sadly it does leak in transit so I end up putting it in a ziploc before it goes in my bag, but he's drinking so much more water now which is great as I'm trying to reduce his formula intake. It's a b*tch to clean though!
ETA Ooh camelbaks - I have one of those myself but didn't know they did kid versions!

Oh! I should also say that when we're not at home we use either the Contigo kids version or the nuby straw cup. Both work great! http://www.amazon.com/Nuby-2-Pack-No-Spill-Flexi-Colors/dp/B003N49ML8/ref=sr_1_1?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1409946777&sr=1-1&keywords=nuby+straw+cup

@blackbird: I think I am going to order one of these for R. She is obsessed with drinking from a cup that we are using. I think she would like her own.

@Smurfette: They're pretty amazing. They had them on clearance at Target for about $10.

Foogo! Foogo! I love it. Double walled and keeps drinks insulated for 12 hours. No plastic except the straw body (straw spout is silicone). Same as the funtainer. Once you go foogo you never go back....

@Mrs. Sketchbook: Does your kid bang it on the ground? Mine will flip it upside and bang the nipple part on the floor until there's a puddle of milk for her to play in. That's my only gripe about them!

Sigg stainless steel if we're talking stainless steel.
Thinkbaby straw cups because I can use the bottles and convert them to sippy cups. Plus they're leak proof.

I just got the foogo after using the zoli cup for about 8 months and @Mrs. Sketchbook is right, once you go foogo, you never go back! I also got a funcontainer by thermos and that's worked well too.

We use funtainers (which I believe are the same as the foogos). LOVE IT!

@blackbird: oh yes he does do that! Lol! Before we were using take and tosses so the foogo is much better but yeah, it is definitely not completely toddler proof!
One more pro for the foogo/funtainer: Versus the take and tosses I find myself wasting far less milk since it stays cooler longer. Wth t and t I was routinely pouring milk out!
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
Yes it stays cold! But omg drives me crazy that she can get milk out of it

We've been using the Take n Toss ones and the Oxo Tot ones - http://www.amazon.com/OXO-Tot-Straw-Green-Ounce/dp/B005XTKJAY/ref=sr_1_1_m?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1409966103&sr=1-1&keywords=oxo+tot+straw+cup
Our issue with straw cups is that DS doesn't like the ones where there's a special trick to the straw or you have to suck really hard. The Take n Toss are easiest for him to drink from but they obviously aren't spill proof.

@Mrs. High Heels: @Mrs. Sketchbook: The stainless foogos?
blogger / eggplant / 11551 posts
@autumnlove: whoa, I didn't even realize they came out with a plastic one til I went to amazon just now, but yes these ones - http://www.amazon.com/Thermos-Phases-Stainless-Bottle-Yellow/dp/B00318CO6G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1409973002&sr=8-1&keywords=foogo

I like take n toss because they're so easy to clean! Every other straw cup we have ends up out of rotation for awhile b/c I let them pile up/dread scrubbing each part. We have a playtex one that doesn't leak at all though, I do like that.

It looks like every brand has an equalish number of votes! Haha, I should have done a poll. Thanks ladies!

LO still prefers the Zoli. I've tried several different kinds now, including Foogo, Funtainter, plastic thermos looks like the Camelback one, Munchkin, and Pigeon. I think the weight and handles are perfect for LO. Can't wait for her to use the Foogo more, but agreed she'll bang or throw it, and liquid spills out.

We also use the take and toss for milk but use the insulated playtex ones for water - they never leak, keep water cold longer and are pretty reasonably priced. I do want to get him a stainless cup soon.
