I have a beef stew recipe that calls for marinating the beef in wine prior to cooking. Would you give your LO anything from this stew? Or, no, because of the marinating in wine.

Yes, I would! I think the alcohol will cook out. That stew sounds really good.

I would. The alcohol would be cooked off by the time she got to it. She had some of our risotto the other day and it was made with white wine.

Yes! I made Jamie Oliver's beef stew which calls for half a bottle of red wine and I gave it to Cobi - it cooked for 3-4 hours so I'm positive tha all the alcohol cooked out.

Sure. Most of it cooks out, and the rest is negligible.

Absolutely, it cooks out. I made Cincinnati Chili last night, and it had a (gasp!) whole beer in it, but it cooked for some time after I put it in. For the small amount he ate of a large batch of chili, I had zero concerns.
