This may be a dumb question, but I get nervous about making sure I store milk correctly. Anyway, two days ago I pumped 3 ounces and put it in the fridge and yesterday I did the same with 2 ounces. Is it okay to combine the two bottles in a bag to freeze it? I'm trying to build up my stash but am not getting much when I pump.

Once it's cooled I think you can combine. I've frozen milk that's been in the fridge up to 3 days (freeze on the 3rdday).

@hilsy85: Thanks! I thought I read somewhere that it was okay. I just don't want to freeze it right away because then I'd be freezing only two or three ounces at a time!

@Katrocap: I've done this - just date it with the older date, for when you thaw it.
