Before I start, let me just say I'd rather not have to subject my four year old to any aptitude testing. However, the only public Spanish immersion option I have in our location is a gifted and talented program. This could potentially save our family a lot of money by avoiding a private school, if she were to get in to this particular program.
She had some informal testing for a different private school program and I'd say that they were very kind and generous to give her a spot. They asked her things like "do you know what this animal is?" (Penguin) And her response was "No". Needless to say, I'm nervous about her testing skills!
So, having said all of that, I'd love for C to be a little prepared for this test if we are going to subject her to it.
Are any of you prepping for gifted and talented testing? If so, how? I'd imagine that there are some NYC Bees heavily invested in this and might have some info.
