We're planning on starting LO on solids in a few weeks, pending the green light from our pediatrician, and I've become a little paranoid about using plastic food storage containers (this is after not paying all that much attention to BPA etc. for years).
I've been doing research on some starter gear for solids. We're planning on making purees at the beginning, and I found some little 2- and 4-oz. glass storage cubes that look promising. My question is - do I also need bowls, or is it more efficient to heat and serve the purees from the cubes? Is it moronic to use glass bowls with a 6-month-old? And what about glass sippy and straw cups?
Now I'm off to heat up my lunch, which I have stored in a BPA-licious plastic container and will be nuking in my office's Soviet-era microwaves. Ack! (If you have recs for glass storage containers for adults, I'll take those too!)
