Stay away from Chinese food! They put sesame seeds on most dishes and use sesame oil on a lot of things.

I have not dealt with this allergy but we think LO might be sensitive to shell fish. He seems to be okay with things cooked with shell fish... but he breaks out when he actually eats shell fish... so like we can give him the white skin of haw gaw (the shrimp dumping at dim sum) but he can't have the inside part.

I have a friend whose daughter is allergic to sesame seeds… She found out after a reaction to hummus! I try to make sure I know if anything in my house has it just to be sure when she is around, I have found it in certain multigrain crackers and breads, and of course hummus. I would also be careful for certain Asian foods that might have sesame oil in them like @raindrop said

@Mrs Green Grass: I know she has had some nuts, but I know her dad is allergic to some nuts too, so that is a good point! I will have to ask if they know for sure or what she has not had before just so I am extra careful! Thank you!
