My LO has had a bottle every night since she was a week old. She is 6.5 weeks now and as of last night has started rejecting the bottle. Her timing could not be worse as I have to go away on a trip this weekend and cant take her. MIL is watching her while I am gone and she is already kind nervous as she feels a bit rusty.If LO doesn't take the bottle I am screwed. I know this requires patience to fix but I'm hoping people might have some suggestions on what I can do. I'm tearing my hair out here.

@plantains: I hope it helps :). Distraction really is a great tool as well. If baby is relaxed and not paying attention, you can often get that bottle in them!

My LO knew when I was even in the house and wouldn't take a bottle this past weekend but the next night when I was out with friends, she took the bottle from my parents just fine!

@Thehistoryofus: so maybe if I left the apt completely it would be easier for DH to give it to her.

@plantains: Yes, I would try to make sure she's hungry and completely leave. I was out of sight from my LO and she still knew I was close.
