We went to a Japanese restaurant this weekend and Olive used these soup spoons for the first time. She was able to feed herself soup without spilling it! So much better than regular spoons where she just spills everything, and she doesn't let us feed her so I need these spoons!
I looked online and couldn't find these exact spoons. I like them because the handle is really curved so it makes it easier to hold for little hands than the ones that are straight.
Any idea where I might find them?

we got VERY similar ones for our wedding at Macys. Let me see if they still have them. The handle was curved like that

Ours are by The Cellar at Macys, but they were labeled as Appetizer Spoons or something...not in the noodle kit. I cant find them on the website though. I live in the NYC area. If I can find them (we just moved into our house) you can have them! Theyre still in the box and everything

Do they have to be ceramic? Here are some plastic ones, which might be better for little hands (and they're cheap!)...

This is a great idea, I will have to try giving DS our Chinese soup spoon to see how he does with it. He spills everywhere as well. If you aren't able to find the exact one you want, maybe you can ask the owner of the restaurant where they got them (if it's a mom and pop place, for example)? Maybe it's from some sort of restaurant supply shop.

Oh crazy, I didn't notice the curved handle until you mentioned it. I don't think I've ever seen those before....
I know the ones with the straight handles are super easy to find (my mom and I find them at garage sales all the time!)

Cost Plus World Market sells them super cheap. Thanks for the idea- brilliant for a toddler!
