LO is almost 11 months old, and she has been teething HARD the last few days/weeks/months. I have done my best to prevent her from using me as a teether while we nurse, but apparently, my efforts have been in vain.

Yesterday, as soon as she pulled off after our early morning session, I saw a stream of blood trickling out of her mouth. After a brief but intense panic, I realized that it was coming from my left nipple. She seemed unphased, but we switched sides nonetheless. I put Earth Mama nipple butter on it and tried to give it some air. It seemed to help, because a later pumping session was blood-free. This morning's nursing wasn't, however, and my last pump resulted in very pink and very bloody milk

So what do I do? I'm about 3 weeks away from pump weaning, and I'm not super concerned about having enough to get there. I'm more worried that this late in the game, if I don't pump or nurse on the left, I will lose my supply, get mastitis, or both. I'm not ready to call it quits yet. Any suggestions?
