Just curious.
I have some ideas in my head, but not going to think too much of it until I finally get a BFP.
Did you mention IF in your announcement?

I mentioned it when I announced it on FB. Can't remember the exact phrasing but I said something along the lines that after struggling for over 4.5yrs we are thrilled (and slightly sceerd) to be expecting twins. I also made mention to the tons of shots, tests, fun procedures, m/c and a couple surgeries along the way. Most of our friends were aware of our struggles, so, they were very excited for us. I also mentioned our issues because if someone else is going through the same thing and wants to reach our for support, I want them to know they're not alone.
eta: family & close friends were told in person and while they knew we were doing ivf at some point, didn't know when so they were suprised when we announced we were expecting.

I announced to close friends and family in person. At 13 weeks I announced on FB.
I didn't mention anything about the trouble we had, but I plan to post something short along with some links to resources on April 27th. I don't want to draw a lot of attention to me, but I do want to raise awareness.

I didn't! At least, on FB, anyways. A lot of people were pretty surprised when I announced the birth of our twins!
As for family/friends, I didn't do much except for my dad and brother, who opened up t-shirts on Christmas Eve that said Grandpa and Uncle. That was fun! Oh, and I have my grandparents a framed ultrasound photo as their Hannukah gift to tell them and they totally didn't get it- Grandpa 'What is it?' Grandma 'It's a picture frame, how nice.' Hahahaha, old people.

never announced on fb and only a handful of people know about our journey.

we told people who knew what we were going thru (close family and a few friends) when we got our bfp with our RE , but never did a Facebook announcement and just at 24 weeks put up a bump pic on Instagram to announce to more people, but we're very quiet about it for a while due to our struggles with IF and the complications we've been having with bed rest, etc.
