DH found our center on the NAEYC website. We wanted a center because we liked the structure.

I went by word of mouth for our in home sitter. She came highly recommended by my mom's co-worker.

I know of a few good centers. Most have wait lists until August or the end of the year, though

We used the state website and probably called 30 places to get some basic info (and feeling for them), rates, hours, etc. In the end I got ONE recommendation from a friend and that's the place we are going with. There aren't any centers near us so our only option was in-home or a nanny. I'm still sort of feeling like I should pursue the nanny share option (it's cheaper than daycare) but I'm overwhelmed at the prospect of finding a family AND a nanny!
