13 months. I think I will go a little longer with the next LO since I won't be pregnant while doing it

@dolphin: we started the cows milk transition about three weeks before her bday.

@Bookish: aw, mama you did a fabulous job! Working and pumping are mega stressful. Pat yourself on the back and have a glass of champagne!

I'm breastfeeding and pumping at 5 months but plan to stop at 6 months.

Almost at 6 months and not really sure what the future holds. I'm an EPing SAHM and it is getting more and more difficult to pump while watching the LO.

I nursed LO until 10.5 months when she early weaned/went on long nursing strike and then EP'd for about a month then switched to WCM

26 months and we're still going, but it's starting to feel a bit uncomfortable. I think I could quit if I wanted to, and I doubt we'll go many months more.

13 months - I quit when I was about 11 or 12 weeks pregnant as it was just taking too much energy out of me to keep going! Also, I'd only ever planned on going for a year as I wasn't really comfortable with the idea of extended nursing. Weaning was super easy as I think we were both ready to be done!

13 months, I was so excited that she was starting to wean and that my body would be MINE again...and then I found out I was pregnant. Oops!

@Foodnerd81: @swedishfish: thank you not going to lie, packing up the pump parts and bf-ing supplies tonight is tougher than I expected. I think I'm going to have to send DH out for beer!

LO is 17 months and still a nursing addict! I hope she starts showing interest in weaning over the next few months...

@MamaMoose: did your LO like it?? I'm going to give it to her this week. I gave her formula to try a few weeks ago and she did not like it. I'm hoping to have better luck with cows milk!

My goal was 6 months and we made it to 7! I miss BF a bit but I do not miss pumping!

@dolphin: we started with 1 part cows milk to 3 parts breast milk and had my husband give it to her (I knew she wouldn't take it from me!). She did great with it. We are slowly upping the ratio of cows milk. Each time we increase it she protests for a day or so at home. But she does GREAT at school. The peer pressure of seeing her friends all drink their milk from sippy cups totally makes her want to do it too. Today she was home sick and she was taking 3 parts cows milk to one part breast milk from me no problem! So we are close! She also is willing to take watered down cows milk. So I've totally stopped pumping at work. I'll use up the freezer stash and then if she's still not totally transitioned we'll water it down.

25 months and ready to quit! it's just so easy.... she goes to sleep so easily for naps and bedtime, i've put it off. and the longer i put it off, the harder it will be.... plus i want my body back. so hopefully by the new year!

We are at 9 months and still going. Ideally I'd like to get as close to a year as possible then drop the pump! I would like to still nurse after a year if he's still interested but there is no way I will continue pumping at work!

at 10.5 months still going strong. i'm not planning on weaning at a year and i'll probably take it month by month after that and read LO's cues.

10.5 months right now, but my pumping output is so low. I'm stopping pumping when I have to go on a business trip in January. Not opposed to nursing at night, but I'm so over the pump and can't wait to quit!!

We almost made to to a year, but stopped around 11.5 months. My supply was super low and LO just wasn't interested anymore. I was a little sad not to meet my goal (1 yr), but it was a very easy weaning process and I don't miss it too much. I feel very good about nursing as long as I did while working and dealing with low supply and a lot of stress (lots of solo parenting).

6 months so far, and I plan to go til age 2-ish. I can't bear to thinking about weaning earlier than that... It makes me sad!

We're still breastfeeding at 13 months. My son shows no signs of slowing down, though I did reduce to one pumping session at work around his first birthday. He gets 5 ounces or so of breastmilk while I'm at work and supplements with cow's milk. He nurses 3-4 times a day.

It will be 15 months by December 7th and we are still going strong. Thinking I may tandem nurse or nurse through my next pregnancy if my body will allow it. My son will have none of weening and still likes to nurse A LOT but I have gotten him to go for hours a day without it which helps.

@MamaMoose: thanks for the tips! i never thought about watering it down. i used up my last two freezer bags today so we're going to try cows milk tomorrow!

@travelgirl1: aww, i know what you mean though. i feel the same way...i'm ready to ditch the pump but not ready to stop nursing...but then i want AF back and TTC next year...

10.5 months and still going! I'm going to stop pumping at a year, but continue morning/bedtime nursing for as long as he wants or until I am over it.
