That includes nursing, pumping, giving frozen milk, whatever.
We are almost at 10 months (nursed until 8 months, EP after that). I will pump my last time on her birthday.

I EBF DS until 12 months, and then he continues to nurse, tapering down, until about 15 months.

LO is almost 17 months and we are still BFing 2x a day. I want to be done by the time she is 2.

We still nurse morning and night . . . and are currently transitioning to cow's milk and starting to wean (LO is 12 months).

We're at 13.5 months and he still nurses. Usually only once a day (at least a good session, but they're getting shorter). During the day he runs up and latches on for a few seconds-a minute constantly, but I don't think he's really getting much, if anything, then. I feel like he might be winding down, so I'll be surprised if he's still nursing by 18 months.

She is 15 months and still nursing 2x/day 1x/night.

I voted 13 months because she is just shy of 13 months and I *think* we are done.

Over two years with my first. Predicting Baby Brother will wean by 18 months.

28 months for DS1.
I predict DS2 will nurse past 2 years too.
I hope to wean by 2.5 years.

She's 17 months and I still nurse 3x a day. I hope she self weans before she hits 2.

@Koolbreeze: DD went 28 months too!
Just gonna go with the flow with DS and stop when he wants to stop. 9 months today and going strong!

Still trying to predict, but I'm still nursing my 15-mo-old once in the morning and once at night. I just stopped pumping at work! Woo!! So there is no more fresh milk for daycare. I do have a substantial freezer stash, so I'm now sending 1 bag (or about 4 oz.) every day until it runs out. Not sure when we'll fully wean, so that's still up in the air. I know I'm kind of ready to be done but still hope that LO makes the choice so I don't have to!

I exclusively pumped until LO was 13 months old, and I think he drank breast milk for another month after that.

LO is 12 months and I was hoping to start weaning to cow's milk but he had a terrible reaction to it. He is still nursing 6 times a day. I am so ready to cut back but it looks like that won't happen for a while.

@chopsuey: DS1 would have probably gone much longer (if I would have let it) if I hadn't been pregnant with DS2. Being pregnant caused my milk to dry up eventually.

4 months, and I was pretty proud of that. It's what I was able to do for him and keep my sanity.

I choose 7-9 months because I BF until 7 months and weaned him by 8 months. But I still have frozen and I try to give him some of that every week. I expect my frozen stash to be gone by Christmas when he is 13 months.

LO is 9 months and has been given exclusively breastmilk so far. I will continue to pump until she is transitioned to cow's milk at which point I will nurse morning and night as long as she wants (no longer than 2, I would PREFER to quit at 18 months but she's a boob monster).

I pumped until she was 7 1/2 months. But the last several weeks I gave her one bottle of fresh milk and froze the rest. Now she'll have frozen milk until a few days after her first birthday.

Still going strong at 2 years here. I think my daughter will be one who'd nurse until she was 5, if I let her. We'll see if I do.
coconut / 8305 posts
I predicted 25+ because I'll continue offering until 2 & then let her choose on weaning.
ETA: We do plan on getting pregnant again around P's 2nd birthday & I'd still like to tandem nurse.

I'm still nursing DS at 23 months, although it is mostly just before naps and bedtime. I'm pregnant with #2, so it seems like my milk has really dried up and I think DS will naturally wean himself.

we weaned cold turkey when LO was 10.5 months, when the combination of getting pregnant and taking a long haul flight completely dried up my supply! I didn't get engorged after we stopped or anything!

Still nursing 3x/day at 13 mos. Hoping he will wean himself by age 2.

It's lo's first birthday today so a total of 12 months so far! We won't be going too much longer. We're down to 1 feed a day now so will probably be another couple of weeks.

We are still going strong at 9.5 months. I plan to have her weaned at 14-15 months.

11 months and still BFing. I really don't know how long he'll want to breastfeed. I predicted 24 months.
cantaloupe / 6146 posts
I am surprised by the poll! We are at 16 months and going strong, still on demand. When I work, he doesn't get pumped milk (stopped pumping at 12 months--yay!)--he drinks water or formula.
At two I intend to day wean but not dawn/dusk wean if that makes sense.

I EP for 6.5 months and he got his last breast milk bottle around 9 months. I was pretty happy with myself.
