We are averaging an hour or so from wake up to sleep. That includes changing, feeding, burping, maybe changing again, and rocking back to sleep. She is not terribly efficient at eating yet (lots of starts/stops), so even just 20 minutes of eating can take double that amount of time. Fortunately, she usually only has 1or 2 wake ups a night, but it still takes its toll. LO is 18 days old.
How long do your wake ups take? If it used to be a while, when did they become more efficient?
I haaaate having to wake him up because he is totally asleep and I just know he would sleep for a lot longer if we could let him! I don't consider what I do "sleep" anymore... more like naps. Crappy little naps. lol
Waking a sleeping baby seriously sucks. I hope that at the very least, your feedings get more efficient so that you can get some more sleep!
