Did anyone else have a LO on fortified breastmilk? I'm wondering how long this will last. Our NICU discharge information just said that our pediatrician would guide us. I think it'll be based on how quickly he gains weight...

What is fortified breastmillk? Does that also mean supplementing with formula?

My LO was on it until she left the NICU, so for 10 days. When we got home, they suggested that we do a feeding of enfamil enfacare 22, then breastmilk, and keep alternating. We did that for about a week until I exclusively breastfed. We haven't had any problems and she's 5 1/2 months now.
