until you found one that your LO would take?
we are starting to introduce a bottle to my 10 week old and so far she is not having it...we are using the avent natural bottles because 1) they are easy to clean and 2) LO1 took to them pretty well...we'll probably try a couple more times with these bottles before we go out and buy a different brand...

LO didn't do well with Avent, so we tried Dr. Brown's bottles and stuck with those.

@butterbean: We were lucky and just tried one with LO...he liked the Dr. Browns bottles, although they do have quite a few pieces to clean.

About a dozen. In the end LO stuck with the Medela bottles we started with. It had nothing to do with which bottle LO liked and everything to do with the bottle not being me.

1 for DS - he used a soothie pacifier so I bought the soothie bottles and liked it!
DD took 3 - soothie, then Dr Brown, then ended up using Nuk

3 I think. She took avent natural for a few days then refused. Moved to nuk and same thing. Finally took gerber first essentials and has been using those ever since. We may have tried A Medela calms that can with my pump too but I can't remember!

One - the comotomo bottle. Both baby and I loved it! (For different reasons of course

We tried the Comotomo bottle first and LO did great. I love it because the Comotomo is easy to clean.

For us, it was less about the bottle and more about the nipple flow. Took a while to figure that out, but once we did, she would take almost any bottle, though we mostly stuck with playtex.

So many for LO 1 and Mam worked the best.
We tried 3 kinds for LO 2 and Tommee Tippee worked the best.

Got it on the third try. Dr.Brown's. They worked for a friend too. Hated cleaning all those parts though.

Both Avent and MAM work great for both boys. I love how easy MAM is to clean and steam, so that's my vote for convenience. Both boys prefer the MAM nipples.

We did 4. Avent Naturals were good except the flow was too fast. Then he was on Nuk for a while which had a good slow flow but he still had lots of trapped gas (not good for colicky reflux baby). We finally went with Dr. Browns which I wanted to avoid because of the parts and so we still use those. I recently bought the Playtex bottles with the liner to try for travel but my son was not having it so Dr. Browns it is!

We only tried/used Avent naturals. If they don't work for you, let me know... I'm in the market for more for baby #2.

My LO was not picky but we started bottle feeding at 5 days. We ended up using Dr Browns because we had them but I felt like they helped with gas more than Playtex drop ins or Tommee Tippee.
