Ok... one quick question ladies. I took my temp after my 2 hour nap today since I work tonight and it was 98.53. This morning it was 98.03. How much do you all think that was affected by me only sleeping for 2 hours?

@fotolori1: I think it would tend to be quite higher during the afternoon and two hours of sleep probably wouldn't be enough to get a reliable reading. You took one this morning though, so were you going to use that reading for tomorrow's temp? I'd just disregard tomorrow's temp if I were you.

I was just going to leave the temp from this morning as the one on my chart. This afternoons I was just going to ignore. Then tomorrow when I wake up after sleeping steadily for about 6 hours I was going to temp again and record it. Sound ok?

@fotolori1: @PEAPIE had a drop yesterday, so I think she thinks AF is imminent. I hope she's wrong though!
And yay for your temps going up!!! Definitely a good sign!!! Have you tested yet? I know it's early, but I'm anxious for a BFP for you!

Me too! I am scared to test yet. Dont want to be disappointed. Im only 10dpo. I really dont have any other symptoms except for headaches and bloating, but with my other 2 pregnancies I didnt have any until about 6 weeks.
I was hoping maybe Peapies temp went back up today! Wishful thinking for her.

When is AF due for you? I guess continue to wait, though I want you to test to see a BFP, haha! And I know what you mean about the symptoms, but every pregnancy is different, so who knows!! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Thank you! I need all the fingers crossed I can get!!!!! It is suppose to come on the 17th, so we will see. Surely I can just keep temping every day and hold out until then. Im older so this isnt going to be as easy for me as it use to. Im 39. Fortunately I found the love of my life.... unfortunately, I found him late in life. I have 2 boys but he doesnt have any children, so we talked to my dr and after being given the ok... we are trying before it gets any later. Thanks for being anxious with me!!!

I almost NEVER tested when I was trying. I'd rather just see the temp drop and get AF than POAS and see a BFN. Hopefully your temps stay up and you get good news soon!!!

Aww... thank you! I just want to say that only my best friend and us know about this right now and this is such a great place to express being worried and anxious with people who are doing the same weird things I do every day without being embarrassed.I appreciate you all!

@Adira... I am the same way! Seeing my temp which doesnt cost anything is a lot easier on the heart than yet another BFN! Those suck! Lol

@fotolori1: I had the same experience when I was trying! I didn't want family to know because if it took us a while, I didn't want to have to field any questions about it. Only Hubs, my BFF, and Hellobee knew!! Hellobee is the best place in the world for stuff like this because everyone's just as neurotic and crazy as you are and everyone is soooooooo encouraging! So I'm glad you found us!

I agree! I can come in here and talk about gross stuff, weird stuff and stuff NOBODY else would want to know and certainly not be doing as well! This place is full of wonderful people who also check their cervix and the yuck coming out of it, they pee on something almost everytime they go to the bathroom, they pay attention to every little twinge and cramp, they know their temp on a daily basis and where else can you find women like that????? I love it here! Lol

Well, I broke down and tested this afternoon. BFN, with the dollar tree test (I heard they were pretty sensitive). I am still 4 days from AF expected arrival and it wasnt my first morning urine. My temo went up a little more today, but when I look at my chart, I dont see an implantation dip. Maybe im out this month. I havent charted temps before, so I dont know what is normal for me. Does an implantation dip always happen? I have read that a blood test can show 4 days after implantation and a urine test will show about 4 days after that. Guess I will just patiently wait.... and wait. Ugh!

Here is my most recent chart. The open circles are due to time differences in my temps I think. Where I sleep in the day every other week from working nights.

@fotolori1: boo...but you're not out yet! I would wait a day or so and test with the dollar tree les. Or, you can go get an FRER, which ate much more sensitive. Fingers crossed for you!!

Well crap! My temp dropped this morning. Guess we will be tryjng again! It dropped from 98.03 to 97.76. Guess that evil witch is on her way.

@fotolori1: Booo!!!! Did AF show up? 97.76 is still above your coverline, so I'm holding out hope for you! But a big drop like that is never a fun thing to see.

No AF yet, but she isnt due until tomorrow. I just got home from work and am heading to bed, so hopefully when I wake up and temp it will go back up. Im not feeling very optimistic though.

I am not going to read too much into this because as soon as I do, something bad will happen. I woke up at 1pm today, went to bed at 8:30. So 4 hrs and 30 minutes and I was sweating. Not sure why, but I have done that several times lately. So I took my temp and it was 98.12. Up from 97.76 and above the previous temps of 98.03. I am on day 13, so af due tomorrow. I dont want to get excited about it because it could be ANYTHING. Just hoping no AF tomorrow!

@fotolori1: Is it possible that you're coming down with something? And I agree - it can be so hard to read these charts! And 0.3 looks like a HUGE jump, when it's not, haha. But you're not out yet! Some of the other BFP charts that people posted have huge drops like that, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

No, I havent been around anyone who has been sick and I feel fine. Not sure whats with the sweats. Its not bad, just a little. Not like my hair is soaked or my sheets or anything.

@fotolori1: Well that's good! If you were sick, that would explain the temp rise, but if you're not, then we can only hope it's because a BFP is in your future!!!

Well, still no AF, my temp has gone back up, but I am cramping off and on like she could be here any minute. I was suppose to start today and im afraid to get excited. I am at work, and I took my temp here and even though it isnt a basal temp it is 99.3! Im not sick and havent been feeling bad.
Just wanted to vent a little!

I might tomorrow, I tested too early (yesterday) but not with FMU and got a negative. Tomorrow I will be officially be "late" so I might wait until thursday. I dont want to see that bfn again! I am very regular, most cycles being 27 to 28 days, so if nothing by tomorrow, my chances might be pretty good.
