I think we gave 3-4 ozs a bottle that age

We are doing about 2.75 oz. He gets his bottle right before bed and always falls asleep while eating. Then he sleeps his longest stretch of 4-4.5 hours. He eats every 2-2.5 hours during the day so I'm not sure if that makes a difference with the amount he takes in a bottle.

When I pump while he eats I usually get about 2.5 oz from one side so I figure that's about what he should getting in a bottle.

We don't exclusively pump, but the amount of breastmilk we sent to daycare everyday stayed the same until about 9 months. Though after about 4.5 months, she had fewer bottles but more each feeding. For what it's worth, she is in daycare for 10 hours each day and I was sending her with 16-18 ounces...

I'm also exclusively pumping, and Baby D gets about 3.5-4 oz bottles at a time, although I'm thinking 4 oz may be too much right now...he gets about 24-27 oz a day at 10 weeks.

At 6 weeks, he took between 3 and 4 oz at a time. I think at that point we weren't good at differentiating his different cries so there were definitely times that we fed him when be was just tired. He drank 30-35 oz of pumped milk at that age. He's stayed pretty consistent at total volume per day. But now that he sleeps for long stretches, he drinks higher volume per meal.

2 months 4 oz/btl 30-35 oz total
3 months 4-5oz/btl 35 oz total
4months 5-6oz/btl 35 oz total
5 months 6oz/btl 35 oz total

When my LO started daycare (once per week) at 4 months we sent him with 4oz bottles of breastmil;k, which they gave about every 3 hours.. So at 6 weeks, maybe offer 3oz.? He did take 4oz per feeding for a while, then around 6 months we had to start supplimenting with formula and he eventually took 6 oz formula bottles every 3 hours..

We did 3.5 oz until about 2 months, then 4oz until 4 months. We moved to 4.5 oz at that point. He's 5.5 months and still takes about 4.5oz.

Ask your pedi and they can calculate how much they should take depending on their weight. DS took 3 3 oz bottles at daycare for about 4 months and. 4 oz for two and then 5-6 at about 6-7 months on.
