My son really likes purees. Loves them, actually. Whereas he has never been a great milk eater (probably due to his dairy intolerance, but still). He would eat a whole jar if I let him! He's almost 5 months.
At this age, how much solid food/puree did you feed your baby?

We didn't start until 6 months. It was just a few tablespoons or so at that time.

I'm curious too! We just started and have been using those packets. A whole packet is 3.5 oz and we give Lil half of it. She seems like she would eat more if I gave it to her I just don't want to over feed. Ill be checking back in on this one.....

Our ped said that you can give however much he/she will take, and not to focus on exact measurements of food. Just make sure to read cues that he doesn't want anymore, and not to overfeed otherwise it interferes with their self-regulatory mechanism.

I feed him until he tells me he doesn't want anymore! I always offer solids 1-2 hours after nursing though. From 6-7 months it would range from 2-5oz of food per meal.

Tonight I fed him peas about an hour after a bottle and he was so aggressive he would have just kept eating! But I didn't want it to interfere with his bedtime bottle so he had about half a jar.
