I feel like some days I have to keep reminding my oldest LO to drink some water. I always have it near her but I don't think she drinks enough, most days. My youngest just started drinking from a straw cup and she will down several ounces in one sitting which seems like a decent amount for an 8 month old.
How much water does your LO drink per day? How old are they? Any tricks to get them to drink enough throughout the day?

She drinks less out of a straw cup mostly cause she's lazy 
lol she's 13 months & drinks anywhere from 2 to 4 take & toss cups full of water. I got really lucky with a baby that loved water.

@Mrs. Sunshine: Wow that is really good! So you mean she drinks more from the kind with a spout? LO1 drinks out of straw cups or regular no lid cups, LO2 only straw cups.

@Bao: yes, she likes the spout. We actually started her on an open mouth cup when we started solids but then she hit the age where she should be getting drinks on her own but she couldn't because she couldn't control the flow so we bought spout & straw cups. She can drink from both buy definitely prefers the spout.
ETA: I personally have very high water needs so I think she may have higher water needs too.

M only has a few sips a day.
Not sure about D, but I'm pretty sure he hits the drinking fountain at school quite often. At home he carries around a thermos to drink it.

Hmm.. I have no idea! I never keep track. She drink milk at meals and water any other time she's thirsty. I refill her straw cup several times a day some days an not very often others.

LO's almost 21 months and probably drinks 24 oz, sometimes more. She drinks out of a straw thermos on the go and open or wow cups at home. She'd drink water all day. I'm always trying to get her to eat more before she gets more water lol.

I'm not sure but a lot? maybe 20 or more? He has water in a camelback and he drinks that all day. He has water cups all around the house. He doesn't drink much juice or milk though. Maybe a juice box every other day and probably 5 oz of milk a day. He's 2.5.

Not a lot! Maybe, 6-7oz, tops? She drinks 20oz of milk per day though (I cut her off), so I don't worry too much.
