My LO is 3 and the past week or so she has been complaining of how hungry she is during our night time routine. However, this is after she ate an entire dinner, and sometimes another snack. I'm sure it's part of her just trying to stall but on the nights where she actually did eat well I feel bad, like she really is hungry. If she didn't eat dinner though I actually feel less bad for her (I'm mean, I know). So I have been giving her a couple of crackers and then she goes right to sleep afterwards. I'm wondering if I got myself into a bad habit, if I should have just told her she needs to wait until breakfast. For the record though, I eat dinner, then another dinner around 9pm, seriously. It will be bagels or cereal, chips and cheese or like last night, chicken strips and friea How can I deny her something if I ate all my dinner but yet was able to have more to eat?!

What would you do? Continue on with the few crackers each night if she ate her dinner well? Do a snack right before the bedtime routine so she can't say she's hungry as we are about to do lights out? Make her wait until breakfast?
