M was on Nutramigen and we started solids (purees with a quick transition to finger foods) at 6 months. I did mostly just fruits and veggies with very little processed foods to avoid dairy and soy. I stopped worrying about soy at about 10 months and she did fine. We introduced yogurt (at the recommendation of M's GI doc) at 11 months and transitioned to cow's milk right before her first birthday with no problems.
Now that I'm looking at your original question that's probably more information than you really wanted

@MrsF: no, no this is great information! That's exactly what I want to know. I just can't put the words into sentences today as I enjoyed last night's wedding a bit too much

@swedishfish: both of my girls drank hypoallergenic formula. We started solids between 5 and 5.5 months for both. I did exactly as @MrsF said. I gave them both a lot of fruit, veg, and meat that I made myself. I also found dairy free bread at our supermarket that is pretty good!

A week shy of 6m. I loved doing solids because it cut down some on the costs of Nugramagen:) we did fruit, veggies, meat, rice, pasta, some dairy free breads and oatmeal (with coconut milk). I was even able to make Alfredo sauce for the pasta with coconut milk and sans the butter!

Lala was mspi. We started solids at 6 months but she self regulated and didn't really eat them until a year.
