So a little backstory, DD is 2 weeks old and when she was first born, she wasn't really interested in eating. It was a fight to get her to wake up to nurse. When my milk came in and she started eating better, she would nurse quickly in 10 minutes or less and only on one side. We were worried about weight gain and I talked to a LC about her eating. The LC said that I really needed to be nursing or pumping for 10 minutes on each side every 3 hours. Thus, we started the routine of nursing on one side and pumping the other. DD had a weight check and is gaining well, but still only eating on one side and now I have the routine and supply to keep up with pumping on the opposite side every time she eats. Yesterday we froze 32 ounces just from the previous 48 hours! I like having the stash, BUT it is a lot to keep up with pumping and watching DD and DS on my own during the day.

What should I do now? How can I wean from pumping without getting mastitis? What would you do!?!
