The trip I most want to take is to Ireland and England. I have never been, but DH has been to both and loves them. Hopefully someday we will get the chance!
As for me, I am on my 2nd week of BCP. My meds are scheduled for delivery on 08/20 and I start Lupron on 08/22. Still looking at the week of 09/15 for ER! FX!!!!

@alohaorchid: Aww, thanks!! I have a RE appt for testing next Monday (in a week). I'm in Vegas for work Wednesday through Friday so that'll help. I think I might POAS this weekend (Saturday is 14DPO) so I know the news in advance of the appointment?

@Sunshine1810: OMG, yes! The "digging it out" every morning is disgusting!

@alohaorchid: I have no clue! The waiting is driving me crazy. I just called and left a voicemail to check on our application.
@Sunshine1810: That's so exciting!

@Leialou: Which are you and your DH more inclined toward? (Forgive me...I really am fascinated!)
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21628 posts
@FliegepilzHut: I don't think we'll know for sure until we speak to the program director. Right now DH is more comfortable with the idea of anonymous and I'd like more information. I'd be ok with anonymous if my LO would be able to get the names of the donor parents as an adult. I know children in closed adoptions can sometimes find their birth parents. I also will be ok with anonymous if we get the family medical history too.

@Leialou: I see. Do you know if one form is more common than the other?
pear / 1556 posts
@Leialou: I know this is different, but my friends used a sperm donor (same donor for both of their children), and they chose to have a donor who was open to contact with the children after they turned 18. They felt that it was important for them to have the option if they wanted it. I think everyone feels differently about it.

CD22 here. I usually O CD15, and didn't temp this month since it stresses me out. I just spent a week visiting friends without DH, and left CD16. We just BD as much as we could before and hoping for I am probably 7DPO and failing miserably at my attempt not to symptom stalk. If I get a BFP, I might not be able to go for the conference I really want, but I want our baby more.
The cool thing was that I really wanted to visit St. Patricks cathedral, but thought it was out of the way. We literally were walking by, so went in. after I lit a candle, I found chapels for Elizabeth and Mary, and as hokey as it sounds, the energy I felt seemed like a sign. Then at the gift store, they had about a half dozen mini rosaries and one was to St. Ann for infertility, so I bought it. Then toe days later, in a different city, we drive by St. Ann church. So hoping it is a sign.
My flight was delayed so just chilling At the airport. Thankful for hellobee and you ladies to keep my boredom in check.

@alohaorchid: I hope tomorrow gets better for you and that you are able to find things to do to get through this TWW.
@bluestriped bee: for your 3rd round of IUI. I hope this is it for you tomorrow!
@AmeliaBedilia: FX for all the auspicious little signs that you've had this cycle! It is a super moon month too!
AFM, I think I've O'd twice naturally this cycle, last Thursday, and now today! I think the acupuncture is working. DH has also scheduled his Kreuger testing for next week as a precursor for IVF. I'm also getting excited for my WTF/IVF consult next week!
I was also wondering, but do you ladies like having the rundown of everyone's current status? I haven't updated it on this thread yet, as I notice that sometimes it does get very tedious. However, if it is helpful, I am not opposed to updating it.

We just got back from FL yesterday. It was a nice trip but it was hard being around DH's brothers oops baby, and his sisters 2 first try did the trick babies.
I'm on CD4 now, started BCP yesterday and did my day "3" blood draws this morning. My doctor does about 2 weeks of BCP, then my prescription list consists of Gonal, Ganirelix, Ovidrel, and Endometrin.

@PurplePumps: Very exciting!!!! Your ER will be sometime in early/mid-September, I guess?
pomegranate / 3809 posts
@FliegepilzHut: Yup! Sounds about right. I just called and verified with the pharmacy that they have all the pre authorizations for the meds (estimated $0 copay on everything except the endomitrin which will be about $125, I'm relieved with that estimate) so the RE should be able determine start dates soon.

@PurplePumps: Excellent! Hooray for having (at least some) IF coverage!

Hi there! Its been about two+ weeks since we found out about the chemical pregnancy and a lot has been going on since then, so I've taken a long break from HB. We moved (which was totally crazy) and have been house hunting ever since. While I am definitely so sad to not be pregnant, there is some relief in the fact that it has been a really stressful time and that would have added a significant amount more. Since our embryos are now a plane ride (or two day drive) away and a lot of other things are up in the air, I'm not sure where we will get started on another FET again. I really hope for Oct or Nov.
I'll have to catch up with everyone's updates soon. But, @FliegepilzHut: I am really so sorry to have hear about your loss.
pomegranate / 3533 posts
@GreenThumb: Thank you! It's apparently been a rough couple of weeks on HB... Maybe our FETs will coincide this October or November!

@GreenThumb: congrats on the new home! I'm sorry about your loss. Having to fly or drive to your FET sounds so laborious, forgive my ignorance, but is it possible to have the embryos transferred to a clinic in your new area?
pear / 1986 posts
@lazypanda: Yes, it is possible to send the embryos, but my clinic doesn't recommend it. Luckily I can do all the pre and post monitoring/beta locally (just have to find a place that will do it) and then just go to my RE for the actual FET. They know me/my body the best anyhow, so I feel like I would have the best chance with them. We'll see...
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21628 posts
@FliegepilzHut: I have no clue.
@GreenThumb: I hope you find a home soon.
I emailed the clinic yesterday since it had been a week since we emailed our application. The patient coordinator got back to me quickly and said she had mailed me a packet of paperwork. As soon as I get that back to her she'll schedule an initial appointment with the doctor. So it looks like we're in.

@FliegepilzHut: Hope you are doing ok. Wish it wasn't so for either of us, but it would be nice to have you as a cycle buddy! How many do you have frozen?
@Leialou: Thanks! We are close on one, but having some difficult negotiations . It is so exciting that you are headed down this new path with donor embryos. I'm really hopeful for you!
@PurplePumps: So exciting to get things started! Glad you had a really nice trip to FL!

@GreenThumb: as an agent I understand difficult negotiations! So frustrating.
@Mrs. Jacks: thank you!

My beta this morning was negative. Goodbye IUI and hello IVF. Just hard having to move on. Wish I didn't have to go to IVF. We are having our WTF appt tomorrow so maybe we can move to IVF this cycle.

@Leialou: Yay!
@GreenThumb: We have 3...I imagine that's just 1 transfer, right? What about you (didn't you have a really big ER)? Hoping this next one is "it" for both of us!
@bluestriped bee: Phooey. Take a little extra time if you need it. But I bet you'll be able to get started quite soon! FX for you!

@bluestriped bee: hugs...I was really hoping that this was it for you. I hope your appointment goes well and you're able to hop into IVF as soon as you can.

@macintosh: How are you feeling? Did you have your monitoring appointment? Tell your husband that you're taking care of the baby while he takes care of his arm
@LindsayInNY: I hope you have a great time in Vegas. Sending lots of positive thoughts your way!
@Crystal: Good luck with your testing!
@PurplePumps: I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather. And stupid AF too. Hugs! Hope you get all of your start dates soon.
@travelgirl1: Thank you! I hope the journey this time around is shorter. I'm trying to stay in a good headspace, but it's really crazy how feelings from last time are creeping in when I'm back in the RE office for testing. // I hope that everything sorts out with the work permits and that you can stay put with your fertility doctors.
@alohaorchid: Thank you! Sending you luck and visions of happy Hawaii memories during your TWW!
@Sunshine1810: I hope you're feeling well and that the week 9/15 is your best week yet
@AmeliaBedilia: I love that you took notice of all of those little signs
@lazypanda: Glad to hear that your acupuncture is working. I hope your husband's testing goes well. And as for the updates - they are kind of tedious but it's helpful to see the reminder of where everyone is at. Only update it if you have the time and want to do it though, no pressure!
@GreenThumb: Good to hear from you! Moving is super stressful, and not to mention house hunting as well. I hope you're able to settle in soon and plan for your next cycle. Do you think you would stay put in WI for a few days after your next IVF? I'm curious how it works when your embryos are in another location.
@Leialou: You're in! I hope this process is a good one for you and your husband. Good luck at your initial appointment.

I've been checking off the list of things to do before we get to jump back in to cycling. Bloodwork, genetic testing, CD3 bw and ultrasound, and the next step is the saline sonogram. I have it scheduled for next week - not really looking forward to it. All I remember from last time is feeling like I was just gushing water everywhere at the end...I know, nice detail. But seriously, it was such a weird feeling. So far things are looking good - I hope that saline sono shows that we are all clear for take off.
Also - little detail about getting back into the swing of things - the last time I did this was in the winter months. So I was always wearing socks and long sleeves. I thankfully thought to bring some socks to put on at the CD3 appointment, I'm not a fan of bare feet in stirrups, but I didn't think about a cardigan. I know it's no big deal to look like you've just gotten blood drawn. It's just hard because where I go for testing is right by where I used to work - so I always worry about running into someone. It was easier to conceal in the winter months...

@PurplePumps: Yay that's so exciting! I bet you can't wait to get started! Best of luck to you!
@Leialou: YES!!!! That is awesome news! I am SO excited for you! Yay!
@bluestriped bee: I am so sorry! I am really hoping one round of IVF is it for you!
@sweetooth: Thank you so much! I am feeling well, I am just nervous. I am excited about IVF, but I am a lot more nervous about this round than I was with my first, probably because the first didn't work. I'm not quite as optimistic with this round as I was the first time around, which makes me sad. I am working on it though! I am glad you are making progress! I am excited for you!!!

We are moving onto IVF! The timelines are a tad longer than I had expected but still hoping that we'll be able to fit in, at least, one IVF cycle before the end of the year.

We got our packet from the clinic today! I'm anxiously waiting for DH to get home from work so we can open it. He's working late, of course!
