We are using a nanny short-term (she began in Sept. and we have her until the end of December) and she is younger than DH and I. She is 27 or 28 (I forget which one).
I'm curious how if those who have nannies have older or younger nannies.

@mrsjazz: my nanny is older than me - she has many years of experience working as a nanny (and raising three children herself). it's a unique dynamic because i am technically her "boss" but i often find myself deferring to her opinion!

She is two years older than me but has no children.

She is 7 years younger than me. I prefer it that way. If I had hired someone older, I would have felt uncomfortable 'bossing' them around. It's a weird quirk of mine!
