...when did you successfully introduce a sippy cup/straw cup/something else?

DD took at bottle from 3weeks to 3 months then never again, I started introducing he sippy cup it never took at 7 months I had to go back to work so I was desperate, tried a straw cup and she figured it right out!!!!

12 months with whole milk. He never took breast milk any way but straight from the source. But I was WAH, so I didn't force the issue too much.

She used a straw cup around 7 -8 months for water. I think I read straw cups are easier for breastfed babies to figure out. I also used the zoli which seemed to be the easiest to suck from. And there are you tube videos that show how to teach them to use a straw. At twelve months when she started daycare a sippy cup was introduced and she figured that out pretty easily at that point.

6.5 months we introduced the zoli bot and she took to it no prob.

I'm asking because we have to go out of town for a conference and leave LO with Grandma and he'll be almost 8 months.

7 months I gave her a zoli straw cup when we started solids. She did great!
