How long did it take you to get the results back?

Our ped just said, "it takes a little while" to get the results... and I'm wondering if that means a few days, weeks, or months?

Did your LO turn out to have allergies?

Did you insurance pay for the testing?

For food allergies, do they test for about 10-15 things?? I know they don't test for everything, but just wondering how many they include in the regular panel?

My LO had blood drawn last week for a food allergy panel and an environmental allergy panel. They ordered the food allergy one because she got a swelling/rash/hives after eating eggs (and a few other things) one morning. She is also constantly congested... not sure if it is just daycare germs or whether it's allergies. I have lots of allergies myself (food and environmental), so I wouldn't be surprised if she had some, though obviously I'm hoping she doesn't. I'm most nervous she'll be really allergic to eggs or allergic to our dog or something! I'm looking forward to getting the results back so we'll have a better idea of where we stand.
