How often do you take it home to wash it?
At R's old school we had to take it home on Friday's. I still do this at her new school, but I have noticed the other kids blankets are always in their cubbies on Monday's.

Everything is sent home every other week for a wash. For me that would be blankets, sheets, and pillows.

We have multiple blankies so at least weekly, but we tend to switch out once during the week.

She uses a sleep sack. We take it home on Fridays to wash (more like they send it home!), but honestly that seems excessive. I think every other Friday would be enough.

We take it home every Friday to wash. BUT when I first started at this daycare, they used to do the laundry themselves, so I originally never had to bring it home and could just leave it there. Maybe that's what's going on at your new school?

@Mrs. Grizzly Bear: They provide the sheets at this school. Blankets are optional.
@Adira: Nope, blankets are our responsibility to wash. They just do the sheets since they provide them.

@Smurfette: Mine has cots for each child so we provide the sheet, blanket, and pillow (with case). Since I have two, multiply everything plus two security blankets

We wash her nap stuff (sheet, blanket and pillow) every weekend.

@Mrs. Grizzly Bear: yeah she sleeps on a cot. Her old center we had to provide a sheet, but I like they provide and wash them every night.

At our new daycare (yay!!) it's SOP to take sheets and blankets home every Friday to wash.

I send a nap mat which is basically like a sleeping bag without the zippers. It has a blanket attached along with a pillow. I send it every Monday and bring it back home every Friday to wash it. I actually have 2 so I can rotate them and do 1 large wash with both of them every 2 weeks instead of washing it every weekend.

AGH I knew I forgot something this morning! Nap mat cover + blanket, that we are *supposed* to wash every weekend and bring back. Sigh.
