Sending positive vibes! Definitely see a line and I would not stress about the digital, it's still early. I never got a positive til 13/14 DPO on digi and had a line on wondfo at 10 DPO.

@mrs bunchy: I've always heard it's better as a 3-4 hour hold with no extra liquids. I'm sure you were just diluted.

Oh honey how wonderful!!! You are pregnant! Have a healthy happy pregnancy.

@mrs bunchy: I'm 100% positive it was just diluted. You had a one hour hold with a bottle of water- they usually say 3-4 hours no liquids.
I would take another lined test tomorrow, then wait a few more days for a digital. They require a higher percentage of hcg to read positive.
Lots of positive sticky baby thoughts!!!!
blogger / nectarine / 2010 posts
@mrs bunchy: yes that happened to me. The digi needs a higher HCG level, so wait a couple days (it doubles every 24-48 hours). I was for-absolute-sure pregnant and getting blood tests every morning from my RE and the digi showed not pregnant at first!

Thank you all for being so positive. I will update in am if I decide to take another test.. I mean- who am I kidding. I will probably be up at 4am to take it.
Praying and hoping something appears. I have officially freaked myself out.

That's a LOT darker than my 10dpo line, and I just heard the heartbeat today at 13w6d! I was 11 or 12 dpo before I could even consider taking a picture, because the lines were way too light.
With my second bfp, I got a negative on a digital with fmu, the day after a positive on a digital. I do NOT trust them. I'll never take one again because that really freaked me out, but I really was pregnant.
Also, never break a digital open. They're not intended to be looked at that way. There's always a line on a digital, and it determines whether it's positive based on how dark the line is.
Sorry this is so stressful, but sending lots of positive thoughts your way!
ETA- Also, yes, that was way too diluted. If you asked what I'd have expected with having a bottle of water and only an hour hold, I'd have told you it would be negative.

@MrsBunchy: I'm soo excited for you! I was wondering if you would be updating the other thread with all the good news that's been on there today.

Don't fret I got a bfp on a dollar store cheapie with smu and then a bfp on a FRER and neg on a digi later that day around 3pm using the same cup of pee. I took another digi at 13dpo and finally got a bfp. Just retake in the morning also try not to dilute it by drinking a lot of water

Took another test this morning and while there is still a line, it's lighter and won't even photograph. something tells me this won't be sticky
honeydew / 7916 posts
@mrs bunchy: I would hold for a few hours and use a FRER...my fingers are crossed that this one is sticky

And here they are together. Top is 10dpo bottom is 11dpo. - although it may appear right and left because of my silly iPhone !! (Right 10dpo left 11dpo).

Ps my one from today is smu because the first ran all over the place. Hence why I couldn't even photograph it. It was a mess

@mrs bunchy: home pregnancy tests are analog and designed to give you a yes/no answer. A line is a line is a line.
So many things can affect the darkness of the line: how much water you've had, when you take the test, the sensitivity of the test, how much HCG is in your system.
It's hard not to, but you shouldn't analyze the darkness of the tests.
For instance, FRER is supposed to have a sensitivity of 6miu. Hcg doubles about every 48 hours, so it wouldn't be unrealistic to have a faint test two days in a row. Day 1 might only a 6, day 2 a 9 and day 3 a 13.

You all make me feel so much better. I could have puked this morning after the first one. I kept dreaming about that stupid digital. I feel so sick today with runny nose and sinus issues. Drinking oj to try to kick it. Otherwise I don't feel a lick different. I hope something makes me believe this is real! I'm so cautious!! Obviously only you guys and DH know he laughed that family could just go on hello bee and find out everything. I reassured him I have a code name
I'm going Monday and Wednesday for betas, thought about going today but nurse talked me out of it saying the # would be so slow I would probably be more worried.

@mrs bunchy: I agree a line is a line TBH, I'd stop testing, you are going to drive yourself nuts. Congrats!!!

@mrs bunchy: I haven't even noticed (personally) that beta numbers correspond to line darkness.
With my first daughter, I got a pretty dark line on 12DPO and my first beta (13DPO) was only 11.
With this pregnancy, I got a faint line on 9dpo & a still faint line on 10DPO. My beta on 11dpo was a 13. My repeat was a 57, I think, and the line STILL wasn't dark. My 12DPO test with Chloe was darker!
honeydew / 7916 posts
@mrs bunchy: I totally see a line but still recommend the FRER (although maybe tomorrow-ish) if you still want to test because it seems more reliable! And yes, don't worry about the darkness!
honeydew / 7968 posts
I actually think the 11 looks darker, but it agree with the ladies above. Don't worry so much about the darkness! Hoping for a great beta draw! Good luck!

@mrs bunchy: that's a line!! And I totally agree w/ @Mrs. Jump Rope: that a line is a line is a line (but I do think 11 is darker than 10).
And, fwiw, I had awful sinus / congestion issues when I was pregnant. I remember having to blow my nose constantly throughout entire first trimester.
Good luck w/ your beta!

@mrs bunchy: Congrats! Those both look definitely, for sure positive to me!
And to echo @pinkcupcake, a stuffed up nose was one of my first pregnancy signs, along with sneezing. I thought it was so strange that I was getting allergies in January, when nothing was in bloom... yeah, nope! Just another bizarre pregnancy sign! Enjoy!

@Ms.Pumpkin: DH asked me what made me test and I said sore throat and sinus issues. He looked at me like I was an alien.

Like I said before, I got a negative on a digital the day after a positive on one. I think 10 and 11 dpo. Which means the line in the digital the second day was lighter, even though I was definitely pregnant. With this pregnancy, the lines took a long time to darken significantly, and then they just stopped getting darker at all and stayed the same, and it really freaked me out. But it's looking like this is going to be a perfectly healthy, sticky baby!
It's easier said than done, but REALLY try not to worry and not to read too much into line darkness. Your betas will be far better at telling you what's going on, and there's no reason from the tests you posted to think they won't come back perfect! Sending you lots of positive, sticky thoughts!

Thanks everyone for your support ... Unfortunatly I woke up this morning to excruciating pain and bleeding. sometimes things suck really really really bad - but it all happens for a reason. So before I end up making my yes swollen and red right before work. I will end this...
2 yrs and counting, is it possible I can't ever carry a baby?

I am so sorry :'( That is breaking my heart for you.
I was *really* hoping and praying this was working out for you!!
cantaloupe / 6751 posts
@mrs bunchy: No, no, no, don't give up hope! I bled throughout my entire first trimester - red, pink, brown, spotting - sometimes w/cramps and pain, and I had a healthy pregnancy and now she's a healthy 2-yo! Praying this is nothing, but call your doctor and let them know! *HUGS*

@pinkcupcake: thx... Unfortunatly all tests are now negative and I am passing clots have no idea how I'm working right now ... Hurts so bad.
eggplant / 11408 posts
@mrs bunchy: oh no, I am so, so sorry Can you go home and rest? I'd still give your doctor a call, too, especially if you're in that much pain, to make sure it's not ectopic.
My heart is breaking for you, Mama
