Our daycare is closed from Christmas Eve until Jan 2. I think my parents will be staying with us during that time so we can both work.

Yes, for the same time. We're going out of town for Christmas and then DH will take vacation for the remaining days.

Yep, last two weeks of December until January 6. Baby 2 is due right before the closure, so it's going to be a hectic time!

Wow. I think ours will close early christmas eve (I will have to take off early since that is a full day here) and then closed christmas day. And then the same for new years but I think that is it!

Ours closes early Christmas Eve and is Closed on Christmas and the 26th. Then it closes early on NYE's and is closed for New Year's, but that's it.

I'm not sure, but with my job I get the week between christmas and new year off paid (this is in addition to my 6 weeks of paid vacation). I'm so psyched!

They are only closed on the actual holiday days. But for some reason they are doing a "teachers" inservice this Monday for Columbus Day? Pretty miffed about paying for that day - they aren't even real teachers!!!

@sheskrafty: We have two teacher work days a year. I don't mind them as much since they have lesson plans for every day. Even in the infant room.

@Smurfette: That makes me feel better that they aren't the only ones that take inservice days. The infant room has a very loose schedule, maybe 1 thing planned/week.

Ours is closed between christmas eve and new years, but the company DH and I work for is closed, too, so it's ok.

Mine is based on school schedule, so it will be closed during all school holidays and vacations. But, that works out well for me since I work in a school and follow that calendar, too!

Yes, she always closes Christmas Eve to January 2nd.
