@YogiRunner: So sorry to hear. Hugs!
I have labs tomorrow- prolactin, AMH, testosterone, insulin, glucose, and natural killer cell assay. My FSH was 6 about 18 months ago, but freaking out about the AMH and natural killer cells. All the other tests are fixable if problematic. I'm 35 and really want two kids. My maternal grandmother and two maternal aunts had kids after 35, so hopefully I will follow my genes. (My mom didn't try that late.)
Cabergoline side effects are terrible, but my research suggests that this is likely the problem. In one study with an average of 3.5 years of TTC, 79% were pregnant in 6 cycles. Trying to stay positive.

@sslm: so glad you got that temp rise!
@yogirunner: so sorry about AF. I wish you all the best as you move forward with IVF.
@AmeliaBedilia: good luck with all your labs tomorrow!
9dpo here and now spotting. I hate having a short LP. My temp dropped low today too so I expect AF tomorrow.
pomelo / 5326 posts
@sslm: I don't know what's going on. My temp spiked huge today, higher than it has been this cycle. I also just threw up which always happens to me when I take my pills in the morning when pregnant. Took a dollar store test but BFN. Maybe this is all in my head.

I'm out this month ladies. AF arrived this morning. I wanted to stay in bed and not get up for work but I pulled myself together. It's devastating to go through this month after month but I'm not giving up. We pull ourselves together because we're strong. I've missed out on so many things already because of this and I can't do that anymore.
Good luck to the rest of you ladies! I'm rooting for you!

I finally got the SA results. They are normal. Everything looks good. We have our appointment set with an RE for july 20. This is so frustrating. What could it be?

@LoveHope: Sorry about AF. It is devastating, and you are strong for keeping it together! Glad the SA came back normal, but it's definitely frustrating not to have answers. Hopefully the RE will be able to shed some light.

@delight: fx it was implantation!
@LoveHope: I'm sorry it's really frustrating when there's no actual reason why you aren't pregnant, I'm in the same boat. My RE said sometimes everything can look good on paper, but there is so much that has to happen for your body to become pregnant and if just 1 of those things are off, than it doesn't happen.

@AmeliaBedilia: My mom had me at 35 and my brother at 39, and that was back in the day. I know lots of older moms now - try not to stress about your age!

@LoveHope: I'm so sorry about AF. I know the feeling of being disappointed cycle after cycle. You're very brave. Hopefully we'll get some good news next cycle.
@delight: Keeping my fingers crossed for you and hoping AF stays away!

@delight: maybe implantation? I'll
Cross my fingers that's what it is!!!

@delight: Wow! Can't believe the comments from people at work. I imagine it would be hard enough to go to work as it is without that. But on the bright side, I have my fingers crossed for you that for this month it is implantation bleeding like sslm suggested!
Sorry to hear about all the AFs everyone!
I keep saying it but I really appreciate having this place where we can cheer each other on. I try to share some of this with friends, but I think a lot of them just don't seem to see what the big deal is to celebrate, ask about or sympathize with each step of the process.
I feel like every step toward TTC - whether researching and trying a new method, getting another appointment, calling back the doctors to keep it moving, transferring records, getting referrals, waiting on results etc. can take so long and feel like such a big accomplishment to check another item off the list, but then a lot of times each step just leaves more questions than answers!
I finally got an appointment scheduled with the OB who was reviewing my records but it isn't until August 4th and it's only 30 minutes long! Do I just wait out the month? Do I try something new? I feel like I have to be trying something new or different rather than just waiting!

@KittySunshine: I love the support here! Ttc/infertility definitely tests your patience. As far as trying something new this month, it can't hurt!

@KittySunshine: trying something new is certainly worth a shot. This cycle im going to try acupuncture. I have an appointment this friday. I'm also adding raspberry leaf tea twice a day to my diet. It's worth a shot. I do love the support on here.

@KittySunshine: I think it's worth it to try something new this month. Don't waste a month ot trying or anything!!
@AMommyThang: welcome! Hope your stay is short!
12dpo here and no sign of AF. All spotting has stopped and FF says my chart is triphasic. I tested with FRER and total BFN. The last few months my LP has been 8-9 days so I don't know what's going on. I've always tested positive by 12DPO before.
pomelo / 5326 posts
@ms.line: yes it was a FRER this morning. I'll try again tomorrow if AF doesn't arrive. Usually I spot though and AF shows up in a few hours. But this month I just spotted lightly for two days and now nothing. I feel if I was pregnant though it should have shown up on FRER by now.
pear / 1770 posts
@delight: It is odd that AF is so late *and* that the spotting stopped *and* that you're triphasic, but that a FRER was negative.... But I'm crossing my fingers super tight that you'll get a BFP tomorrow!

Anyone ever tried ovuboost and fertileCM from Fair Haven?. I read that both are great for women who have pcos and unexplained infertility.. I ordered a month supply that had fantastic reviews so it can't hurt!

@AMommyThang: are these supplements? I haven't heard of them but willing to try what I can to help

Yes ma'am , the reviews are great on both. For what I got it was $49 and no shipping costs.
pear / 1881 posts
@AMommyThang: I took Fertile CM the past few months and it did increase my CM. I'm not super religious like I should in taking it though. I started the Ovaboost last month, but again, not super great about taking it. I'm glad to say that neither affected my ovulation timing, which I was worried about. Unfortunately, even with taking Fertile CM for 3-4 months, I have yet to get a BFP. I have unexplained infertility..
eta - the only frustrating thing I've had with them is that they say if you buy $80 in product, you get expedited shipping, yet it takes like 5 days to get to my house! It got there in the same amount of time as normal shipping..It probably took 36-48 hours to get a shipment notification after I placed my order.
cherry / 152 posts
@northstar, hopefully that changes soon! I rarely ovulate and when I do CM is nonexistent so hopefully these will at least help with that part. One also requires you to drink a lot of water which helps with your over all being so looking forward to the benefits. Fingers crossed and lots and lots of baby dust to you!
pear / 1881 posts
@AMommyThang: thank you We will be having our second IUI next week! I'm trying to remain hopeful, but it's SO hard since we have been trying for 2 years now. Yes, drink lots of water! If anything, that will help too.
Do you know why you don't ovulate or are you working with a specialist on that?
cherry / 152 posts
Due to pcos I believe, my doctor was quick to prescribe clomid. But personally I'd rather try unmedicated as much as possible. When I got pregnant the first time it was by chance I was told due to my hormones I would have a hard time conceiving. So we decided that BC wasn't necessary. I was on a daily dose progesterone and thyroid meds. On top of that I had just lost 15pds and noticed I hadn't had a period and Bam! Bfp! We definitely weren't trying but definitely welcomed the blessing now that were actually trying it seems to be a but more difficult.

I keep logging into my patient portal and my labs aren't back. I know some of them take 1-2 weeks, but the ones that take a couple days aren't back either. I am so impatient! I did find a forum with women who had elevated prolactin, treated, and got pregnant. ISO hope this Cabergoline is it!

A little update: I have an appointment with my RE on July 20th but my OBGYN is still very much involved with my case. She ran all my initial testing plus my husbands SA. So far everything looks normal. My thyroid is at normal levels now as well. She wants me to do the AMH test now. If that comes back normal, she was going to start me on clomid. I'm not sure if I should just wait to see what my RE says about all the testing. I think I may wait to see him or I can get the test done and by the time I see him, he'll have all my results. I feel like I'm going over my OBGYN'S head but this has been too long to wait it out.

@AMommyThang: I started them last month, just because I needed to try something new. I haven't been taking FertilCM throughout the day, just when I take the rest of my pills in the morning, so I haven't noticed too much of a difference. I think so far this month I have had more CM, so hopefully it will keep it up.
