Not sure what happened.... I had a faint pink line on two tests Sunday so I tried again today and nothing! No faint line or anything. Just pure white. Dang it!

@anonysquire: this happened to me last month. I had 2 super faint lines and then nothing it can be so nerve racking ! Fx for you!

@T.H.O.U.: well when I posted a pic people could see them an said they were not squinters. Ugh I was so excited all weekend
@luckypenny: ya it sucks

@anonysquire: Ugh, what a tease! I'm sure you mentioned it before, but when is AF expected? Maybe wait a few days and re-test?
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@anonysquire: Were there anything different between the tests you used on Sunday and the one you used today? Maybe today's was expired or something? When is AF due? I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!
cantaloupe / 6923 posts
@doxielove: we'll I have Pcos so my cycles are weird every month and range from 35-100 days. I'm on cd42 today... I probably didn't ever ovulate. I don't know.
@Adira: we'll Sunday they were 2 answer brand tests and today were 2 dollar store tests.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@anonysquire: Maybe the 2 answer brand tests were more sensitive, though I don't really know. Also, did you use FMU for any/all of them? And do you chart at all? I'd love to see what your chart looks like if you do. Otherwise... I guess you just have to wait. Maybe try a digital in a couple days?
cantaloupe / 6923 posts
@Adira: I don't chart. Basically I wake up different times everyday so it wouldn't work for me. And I tried to use fmu for the last 2 but I keep having to pee like every 2-3 hours including in my sleep. Today was probably 3 hours of sleeping. But still... It should have been darker 2 days later

@anonysquire: I also have PCOS and weird/long cycles, and I had a hunch once I was pregnant, took a test (a FRER at that) and got a faint, but definitely there, pink line. I was so ecstatic! But I never got another positive, and AF came about 2 weeks later. Afterwards I suspected maybe the FRER detected LH/ovulation a little bit? This is totally anecdotal though.

@Ash: so after O this next round as in a few weeks? Then do I stop taking it at some point? It's so confusing!
cantaloupe / 6923 posts
Of course the test now has a faint line. I guess they were all evaps. Thanks everyone for hearing my crazy emotional rants and such. Blah!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@anonysquire: Bleh, sorry you're not having much luck. It sucks your cycles are so random, so you can't just be like "Okay, AF is due on X day, so I'll know then or not." I'll keep my fingers crossed for you anyway, but I agree, it seems like it should've been darker two days later.
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
@doxielove: I did yesterday but that would only be 9dpo so that's early. I'm fine with AF not being here since that would mean my LP is longer than I thought (yay) but on the other hand it's annoying lol
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@anonysquire: try a digital! I would go crazy trying to interpret or look for lines.
nectarine / 2936 posts
Well, I'm a rollover! AF showed a few days early. I really had a feeling it was not our month, but it still stinks. The bad thing is since my cycle ended a few days early, I'm now set to 0 towards the end of a week-long work trip (sans DH). Blurg.
honeydew / 7909 posts
@Bao: Yep! After O this next time around otherwise it will prolong O AND your LP. I stopped it when AF came or when I got my bfp. It's really confusing.... but I found (and read) that O was delayed if I took it my whole cycle.
watermelon / 14206 posts
@anonysquire: Not to be a total downer here, but last summer, before I conceived S, I had a cycle where I tested pos for a few days, and then it got lighter...and then it went away. Turns out it was a miscarriage. You may want to look at getting progesterone supplements if it happens again. Also, I've read that you're more fertile after a ms, which I believe, since I conceives S the cycle right after.
watermelon / 14206 posts
I guess I need to get some OPK's. First cycle was 28 days, which was cool, but then the next was 35 days. So, I don't know if I'm going to O this weekend or next. Or even the one after, since before I was pregnant, I had 42 day cycles...
So who knows which cycle my ovaries are going to pick this time! I guess I could just make the most of every weekend, lol.

@anonysquire: ugh, sorry you are going thru that!! How frustrating. FRER seems like the most reliable when it comes to detection and evaps

3 DPO over here. The only reason I'm sane right now is I started a new job yesterday so HUGE distraction. Sure I'll be nutty again by this weekend
nectarine / 2134 posts
@runnerd: Congrats on the new job! And FX for more good things this month
@mrs. 64: Sorry lady
cherry / 202 posts
@mrs. 64: I'm so sorry to hear that. Boo! to that!
@runnerd: Huzzah for distractions - FX!
@bao: I started taking B6 this cycle (100 mg along with pre-natal.) Dr. recommended to take it daily through my whole cycle.. I'll keep you posted on how it goes.
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
@Ash: Oooh ok that makes sense, thanks did it help lengthen your LP? I'm assuming yes
cherry / 202 posts
@bao: I'm doing B6 only, Dr. said I have enough B12 and others in the pre-natal to help it along.
honeydew / 7463 posts
@mrs. 64: Sorry to hear that But the end of one cycle is also a new beginning. That's what I reminded myself and it made BD more fun
@anonysquire: that is frustrating! Wait a couple more days and if still no AF test again with an FRER! FX!
@runnerd: Glad you can stay distracted and congrats on the job!
bananas / 9229 posts
@mrs. 64: Aww, boo
@runnerd: Congrats on the new job!!
@sweetkeight: @bao: I'm going to start 100mg of B6 (plus prenatal) post-O this cycle. My LP isn't terribly short but I'm trying to prevent the pre-AF spotting that's been occurring for a couple of days beforehand.

9 or 10dpo today and feeling some cramping.:( hoping it isn't af cramping. Anyone else get cramping and still get bfp?
kiwi / 693 posts
@anonysquire: still keeping my fx for you!!
@mrs. 64: boo, I'm sorry lady!
@runnerd: that's great you have a new job to distract you.
I'm sitting here at CD16, still waiting to O (well, if I even will this cycle!). Still no +OPK, but the last 4 days have been "high" on the CBEF monitor. Hopefully if it's going to happen, it will soon, because I'm exhausted! We've BD'd 10 of the 16 days this cycle, including the last 8 days in a row. Of course, DH is loving it and I'm determined to keep at it--after all, it's the one thing I can actually control. If we don't get a BFP this cycle, it certainly won't be for lack of trying!

@Beebug: Your situation sounds horrific... I hope they can find that thing and you can move on to TTC!!! You are a trooper!
@mrs. 64: Boo for AF!
@anonysquire: I'm sorry, that's frustrating to be so excited and then, all of a sudden, confused... Hopefully it's just the test being wonky! Hang in there!
@Sprite: Whoa girl! Fingers crossed for you!
pear / 1699 posts
@Claire.Peonies: yes, I got cramping around 7-10 DPO. I got a BFN at 9DPO and my BFP at 14 DPO. Good luck!
