Today is CD19 - had an almost positive OPK so I'm fearful I'll miss the surge again this cycle. We'll see...

@LindsayInNY: just keep testing! I did it waaay often on the days I thought were close. Test and BD

@SweetMamaM: Yay!! That's awesome! So happy for you! That is definitely encouraging for me! I had a positive opk on CD 14 and 15 last month and if I remember correctly we only bd one day after that so maybe that was the problem. Who knows really, but it sounds good so we are gonna give it a shot!
@Claire.Peonies: @PEAPIE: I agree you girls have some crazy willpower! I wished I would have held out longer this month if only to just prolong the inevitable. A bfn definitely takes the wind out of your sails! Hang in there!! Fx!!

@CharityAnne: this happened to me too on my last cycle! I started exercising like crazy and my body fat dipped. The last two cycles were 37 and 41 days. Before that (for 2 years at least), my cycle was 27-29 days consistently. I think my body was sensitive to the extra activity. I started increasing my exercise because I had the mindset "I want to be in the best shape possible when I conceive" and apparently it shocked my system....talk about back firing.
Also, if you've traveled (different time zones impacting sleep cycles) or moved homes, etc. - anything "stressful", it really does affect it. My gyno recently told me that she hears often from patients that their very regular cycles show inconsistent patterns when they really TTC. Fascinating!

So I just woke to take my temp and am super frustrated. I'm CD25 and 7 DPO, yesterday my temp dipped to my cover line and I was kinda annoyed but didn't think it was that strange. Today my temp fully dipped (lowest of the month actually!) and while AF isn't here yet, I'm sure this means she's not far behind. Last month was my first normal length cycle after my March m/c and I felt like things were finally getting back on track. Now to have such a short cycle is SO frustrating and such a waste. I'm trying really hard not to be so upset about it, but its hard. That's the end of my rant, I just needed to vent about it.

@fussygal: I'm sorry...but don't give up hope, you never know.

@fussygal: I don't chart and don't know the specifics, but isn't there a dip at implantation? That would be around 7 dpo.
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
@Dandelion: I think you're right! But I never charted temps either.

@Bao: I just read all over the place about an implantation dip, so it came to mind.

@littleredhairedgrl: Hey now I spotted like crazy and thought for SURE I was out

@fussygal: you aren't out yet, hang in there!
Charting is both good and bad, it's great to keep track of your cycle, but bad in that you read into everything! I don't regret doing it with my #1, but it's hard not to analyze everything.
@littleredhairedgrl: big hugs!

@littleredhairedgrl: I'm sorry. I am out today too. A freakish 18 day cycle.
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
@fussygal: I'm sorry. I know what you mean. I am frustrated and just want to get back to normal. My last three cycles have been 49, 26 and now 18.

@T.H.O.U.: so sorry...wonder why it was so short? Is that normal for you?

@fussygal: @T.H.O.U.: My cycles have been weird, since they started again, too...crazy hormones. Even fertility friend is confused by it!

@littleredhairedgrl: @T.H.O.U.: sorry ladies! Hope next month is your month!

@bao @Dandelion: thanks I think implantation dips are supposed to stay above the cover line and this one nose-dived down really far. Maybe it was a freak temp though! I'm trying to hold out hope.
@lemondrop: @T.H.O.U.: thanks ladies. So far she hasn't showed but she usually shows late afternoon - so we'll see!

@fussygal: FX for you... I know absolutely nothing about how charting works, but hope it doesn't end up being a wacky length cycle for you

My husband just asked if I was sure I wasn't pregnant, because I was acting the way I did last time. This is with me actually downplaying the things like lightheadedness. I can't decide if I'm hopeful, or worried about a hysterical pregnancy. And won't get blood test results till Friday at the earliest, probably *next* monday or tuesday. Gonna poas this week again, but gonna try to delay as long as my patience can hold out.

@luckypenny: Thanks!
@AuntieEm: Thanks! Not really sure. I'm 31 days post-miscarriage. I had symptoms that I thought might be ovulation about 16 days ago, and 11 days ago (not charting or using opk since figured m/c would complicate things too much). Tested yesterday, and negative so who knows. I've just started feeling different in the last couple days, so you never know!

So i cracked and bought some frer 2 days early.....and now I'm too nervous to test! >_<
ETA: bfn - guess I'm a roll over to August.
grapefruit / 4311 posts
Well I've officially lost my mind. Used 2 FRER today on 8 DPO so I might as well be peeing on money!!
I got my BFP on 9 DPO last time so my expectations are high not a good thing.

@runnerd: Ha, that's why I ordered the internet cheapies when I was trying for S. I knew I wouldn't be able to control myself, lol
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
@runnerd: I think the earliest I am going to let myself test from now on is 10dpo with first morning. It's just not accurate before that.
grapefruit / 4311 posts
@Dandelion: I had some of those but ran out bc of my wonky 3 months to get a normal period where I kept saying to myself, well maybe you're preg again
@T.H.O.U.: oh if only I had that willpower
