@Dandelion: Ohhh, gotcha. Yeah, 10 lbs is crazy big! How big was your DS when he was born? Do you just breed giant babies?
watermelon / 14206 posts
@Adira: he was 6.5lbs at 32 weeks. So, yeah, big babies. So weird, cause I'm only 5'1, and both kids had different fathers, and both babies were big. How do I keep making these giant babies?? lol

@Dandelion: just popping in to say, OMG!!!! CONGRATS!!! wishing you a happy, healthy and very speedy 9 months!
@LindsayInNY: keeping my FX for you! it did happen to me once that i got a +OPK, didn't O and then O'd 2 weeks later, but I wasn't actually O-ing regularly like you are, so I'm not sure if that would have happened to you. I don't know much about the B6 but i wonder if it could affect O and not just the LP? either way i hope you get your answer soon (and it's a big fat +!)
bananas / 9229 posts
@Pirouette: That's why I'm still a bit doubtful. The only way FF shifts my O date is if I remove the +OPK from it. And in the past 3 cycles (all about the same length), this has never happened. The cycle before that, the 60+ day one, AF came about 13 days after the +OPK. I don't know what the story is here.

@Dandelion: Oh, that's crazy that you're so petite!!!! Do giant babies run in your family? Do you know how big you were when you were born??
watermelon / 14206 posts
@Adira: I think I was a little over 6 lbs, but I was 6 weeks early.
Who knows? My little brother was 8 lbs and some change, which is pretty normal, right?
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Dandelion: Yeah, I'm not positive what the average is, but somewhere around 8 lbs seems normal. Guess you just breed them big! It'll be interesting to see how big this one gets!!!

@Dandelion: congrats!!!
AF came this morning I had a dream last night that I was pregnant, so I'm a little extra disappointed to wake up to AF. Looks like I'll be joining the August thread!
Congrats to everyone with their BFPs and good luck to everyone still trying

@cmbknyc: So many congrats!!
And you too @Dandelion, so happy for you!
@doxielove: that looks promising! FX it was an implantation dip!
@LindsayInNY: I'm sorry your chart is being so confusing! I have definitely had a few +OPKs though when I didn't actually ovulate (dr. confirmed), so that is always a chance. Still rooting for you that you get good news this cycle and maybe you just O'd late!
@Boopers: sorry about AF
pomegranate / 3331 posts
@LindsayInNY: yea, it's puzzling! I'm sorry it's such a frustrating cycle. just when things were seeming to be completely normal for you, UGH! i'm gonna continue to keep my FX - regardless of when you O'd, you're not out until AF shows!
bananas / 9229 posts
@Pirouette: That's what's getting me the most - the past 3 cycles were totally normal despite all of the stress I had! This cycle is the least stress-filled so far. I'm trying to be hopeful that make I'm a late BFP person... Only time will tell, I guess...

@Dandelion: Congrats mama! Wishing you a healthy, happy 9 months!

@Adira: He came home early! Then gave me a list of do's and don'ts and told me to call Nancy (kmy midwife at the ob/gyn office) right away, haha. He's not as freaked out as I imagined.

@Dandelion: This is such wonderful news. I don't think I could be happier for you. CONGRATS!!!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Dandelion: YAY!!!!! Are you guys going to do anything to celebrate??
watermelon / 14206 posts
@Adira: Not really...we're not telling DS for a long time, so we gotta play it cool, lol
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Dandelion: Yeah, that makes sense. My SIL did that too with her last pregnancy. I think she didn't tell her son until she was about 5 months along, so they had to play it cool for a long time! I think she told him when she could no longer hide the stomach, haha.
watermelon / 14206 posts
@Adira: I told DH I want to tell him when I know boy or girl, lol. It was such a long wait for him last time, and I don't want it to be that way this time.
pomegranate / 3331 posts
@LindsayInNY: i got my at 10DPO with FRER but never got a clear from wondfos (i think the last one i used was 13dpo). I did have a hint of a line on the wondfo at 13dpo but it was so faint my DH didn't believe i was pregnant (even after seeing clear lines on FRERs for days!) SO i wouldn't give up home for a late either
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Dandelion: Oh, that's a good idea! Definitely being able to tell him that you're pregnant AND what you're having at the same time is smart!

@dandelion: Just can't say how big my smile is. Thought I'd take a pic, but can't find my camera! CONGRATS!! I'll be stalking you, too!
@boopers: we'll be friends in the august thread together. I hate the pg dreams followed by af. It's just too mean. Boo!

@Pirouette: If I did in fact O late, then AF should be arriving this weekend. If not, maybe I'll test again? I don't know. I guess I'll decide when the time comes?
@sweetkeight: Thanks - I'll see you in the August thread anyways!
cherry / 143 posts
@LindsayInNY: Not sure if this is any consolation, but FF did the same thing to me during my BFP cycle. It changed my O date based on temps only, and it wasn't accurate at all; the first date was correct. Maybe that's what's going on with you? I also got BFNs at 14, 16, and 17 dpo. Don't give up hope yet
honeydew / 7463 posts
@LindsayInNY: I'm still holding out hope for you. Just remember too that we all seem to rely on FF as the final say but it's really not 100%. There's really no way to know when we actually O'd until we get the bfp and dating scan. I know you know all of this already I just want to reassure you that for all you know you O'd the 22 or 23! So later than you thought but not as late as FF is now saying.
Keep the hope alive.
bananas / 9229 posts
@amreis: That's exactly what I'm doing. It's giving me one O date based solely on temps and another O date based on OPKs and temps. I hope that what happened with you is the same here!! Did you wait until 14DPO to test? When did you finally get a BFP?
@SweetiePie: I agree... I need to not rely on it so much. At least not right now! We'll see - somethings gotta happen - either BFP or AF!
cherry / 143 posts
@LindsayInNY: I got a BFP at 18dpo. I spotted for 3 days when AF was supposed to come, so I thought I was out. Temps stayed up and spotting stopped, so I kept testing until my BFP. I guess the second O date could have been correct, except for the fact that there wasn't any good BDing around that time, and I'm consistently measuring as if we conceived around the first O date. Had we conceived around the second O date, I would be more than a week behind where I am now. Hope this helps - or maybe it's just more confusing!
bananas / 9229 posts
@Dandelion: Yep - CD 15 to 21. The past 3 cycles I Oed around CD19-21. It was positive on CD19, a lighter line on CD20 and nearly white on CD21. That's usually what happens post-O, they're basically white. That's how I "know" to stop using them. With OPKs and temps in FF, O comes up as CD21. If I remove the +OPK, FF changes it (based on temps only to CD28). I can see the reason why but maybe I Oed on CD21 and have a triphasic cycle? I don't know. I feel nothing right now - no BFP symptom spotting, no AF, nothing,.
bananas / 9229 posts
@amreis: A little of both It is kinda reassuring though. The second O date has terrible BD timing since we had basically stopped by that point. That's what annoys me. But maybe that's the lesson I need to learn? Nothing like a Two WW turning into a Three WW!

@doxielove: Thinking about you today! You were thinking of testing, right??
