@runsyellowlites: I wanted to smack DH for his "well what if you just don't test" comment!!

@Bao: I hope you find something out soon!
@LindsayInNY: Yea... I think most guys just don't get it. I tested the other night since af still hadn't shown & DH was so wrapped up in the game that he didn't even ask what the result was (he knew I was testing) and then when on for 30 minutes about how disappointed he was about THE GAME... totally disregarding the negative test. yea I didn't go to bed very happy! (he fixed it in the a.m. though)

@LindsayInNY: not test... Psssh! DHs can be so naive sometimes. From my own experience I could barely function like a normal human being for about an hour after I got my so maybe try and POAS while they are out?
@Bao: sorry you are in so much pain!

@SweetMamaM: I'll go nuts NOT knowing!! That's what I worry about - my reaction afterwards, especially with in-laws staying with us!

@LindsayInNY: You should send your DH to breakfast with them!!! Or lunch, or to a movie, or anywhere! Then you can have some time to test and react however you feel necessary! Then you can tell us, and if it's a bfp (which we hope it is) then you can surprise your DH.... since he doesn't seem to think it's important to test then anyways he won't have a problems waiting to find out! lol jk jk

So I was just reading that IF your period is late & you get a bfn you should wait a WEEK and then test again..... please tell me I'm not the only one that simply can not, could not, and will not wait a whole week?! (I can't wait a day much less a week!)

@runsyellowlites: hahaha I remember reading this last month and laughing!! There's no way!!

@T.H.O.U.: Glad I'm not the only one! lol
I tested again tonight & I swore I saw a spot of color at the top of where the line would start.... I had held my pee for 5 hours but still hard to not have diluted tinkle during the day. I'll test again in the a.m.
I REALLY think I probably O'd during that second set of O symptoms so that would put me at 10 dpo.. fx for tomorrows test!

So I tested at 9DPO and got a BFN and was kinda sad. I figured we'd just try again next month...but I tested this morning because I feel weird and I got this!
I've got my fingers crossed for you late month POASers!

9DPO and noticed light discharge this morning. This happened at 9DPO last cycle too until it turned into AF (on 12DPO). Feeling a little discouraged. And in-laws arrived last night and FIL commented "we thought you'd have surprise news for us." Then I go on FB to another pregnancy announcement... Ugh.

@Mrs. Bird: @lindsayinny: Thank you!
@lindsayinny: I had some brownish discharge a few days ago (which I thought was AF coming) so I'm still holding out for you

@LindsayInNY: Don't give up hope yet! Still way too early for that. Major FX for you!!!

@Mrsjets: @AuntieEm: Thanks guys... These last couple days of the LP are always the worst for me. I symptom spot, compare to past cycles, etc. If the discharge continues or gets heavier, I fear that means AF is on the way. I'm on vacation next week so I would much rather her in town this week than next though. (trying to be positive, LOL)

I'm still getting the same "I think I see something" line that I had yesterday & the night before & still no sign of af! AND on top of that DH & I had basically written this month off (considering I'm 18 dpo with no bfp) deciding it was probably best to wait awhile & so the possible line has DH stressed out, which of course has me stressed out too.

@Mrsjets: congratulations!!!!
I'm going to join!
Current Cycle Day: CD 30
Ovulation Date: 14/15 but I haven't started using OPK's. I can feel when I ovulate though. I'll start temping next cycle.
POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: Yesterday - BFN. Will test again in 4 days. My cycles are always off because of breastfeeding. Between 26-37 days.
Cycles trying: First cycle
BD timing: EOD, more when ovulating.
For Fun: What's your favorite summer activity?: running outside instead of on a treadmill. I'm in the Seattle area so it pours all year long except for summer!

@runsyellowlites: if you think you see a line let us see!
coconut / 8305 posts
@Bao: I tried getting a picture. Still unsuccessfully. I know I see it, but every picture I take either has a glare over the lines or is too dark (I hate the lighting in our house). At this point I'd rather af just show so we can get on to waiting till DH is actually ready. I'm honestly so upset with how this has all gone. I'm done testing and done worrying about it. If af still hasn't shown by the end of the week then I might test, but otherwise I hope af decides to make her appearance.

@LindsayInNY: I hope having your in-laws in town is a good distraction! maybe?

@PEAPIE: Depends on how much of the "I want to be a grandparent" comments they make... Because that really helps things? They know we're TTC. I know it didn't happen on the first try with all three of theirs... Cut me some slack!

@Mrsjets: Yay! congrats!
@LindsayInNY: I totally feel your pain on the "I want to be a grandparent" comments. We get them from both sides! When we got engaged, my dad toasted to "future grandchildren." Slow your roll, dad! Deep breath, we just have to remember they are excited too. (ha!)
bananas / 9229 posts
@HazelEyes: Thankfully (?!) I don't get it from my parents too. But his are a bit over the top. I get they're excited but it's frustrating at the same time. I can only control so much and the fact that it's not happening "right away" makes me feel broken. =/
clementine / 811 posts
@LindsayInNY: Oh, I wish you didn't feel broken! Thats heartbreaking. And stressful! Like you say, you can only control so much (says one control freak to another ). You're still in this month!

@Mrsjets: yay! Join us at the Feb board when you are ready!
@LindsayInNY: ugh, that comment is the worst! Fingers crossed for you hun!
